Aroma of oak, smoked malt and fruit. Full-bodied with flavors of charred oak, smoky malt, caramel and fruit. The finish is oaky and smoky with a malty aftertaste. >> Hazy deep orange pour, nice white foam with best retention of the flight. Nose is macadamia, white chocolate. Taste brings a nice macadamia nut bitterness, toasted macadamia nut. Long woody and acidic finish. Don’t pick up any smoke unfortunately.
On tap @ Stone Liberty Station. Hazed orange pour with a sticky off-white head. Slight smoke, lots of oak, and a really rich vanilla character. Nice caramel sweetness and plenty of fruit. Sweet flavors of caramel, vanilla, and candied apple. Quite a bit of oak, light smokiness, and subtle bitterness. Better than the original.
