Nice aroma with a touch of fruitiness.NIce clear copper appearance. The flavor was smooth then a touch bitter but finished clean. It felt good on the palate and overall the beer is solid.

Draft - Nice balance of hops and malt. The customary pale ale bitterness is definitely there along with an wasy to drink character that would make having a few pints an enjoyable experience. It’s not spectacular, but it’s quite good.

smooth, clean ale with faint citrus and honey flavor notes and a dry finish. There taste a measure of British specialty malt wether there is any or not it tastes that way. This is my bottled beer of choice with best balance of malt hops and fruity esters. Total consistencey with any aspect ot this brew.

One of the best APA’s around. Citrus hops abound in the aroma. Light crystal malt flavor leads into assertive hopping and a lasting bitter citrus finish. Amazingly smooth, creamy palate without being flat.

This is my most fav. beer in the world.....hence the perfect 5.Great white (not shark) head not to foamy not too flat. The aroma has a prickly hoppy fruity flavor which matches its overall flavor. Not too tart but a slight fruity similar too a Bass but much more. Big backbone on malty flavor very smooth thouout the tastbud transfusion and the aftertaste goes on and on...no skunkyness

Bottle: Citrusy nose with some doughy malts in the back; well balanced and tasty; a bit flat and oily on the palate

Tasted it twice at the brewery (they don’t ship it out because it doesn’t stay well). From what I remember, it was a good amount of malt that came through for a regular pale and the hopiness of most stones. Excellent for style.

UPDATED: AUG 24, 2007 Aroma of soft citrus and a freshly mowed lawn. Color a pale copper, topped with an especially sticky and lacy off-white. Flavor is a nice subtle grass and butter, with some cream notes and a profusion of fresh ruby red grapefruit. A pretty superb and highly drinkable brew. Palate is fairly impeccable, with warming notes and general drinkability. Finish a little dry, but well balanced.

Copper Coloring with White Ring. Sweet Malt, Dry Hop. Heavy Dry Mouthfeel and Malty Aftertaste. Nice Solid Pale Ale.
