I had this at Global Brew. Pours amber with a off white head. Taste bitter, citrus, malt. I thought this was good. I would drink this again.

Very complex and balanced beer. Looks great in the glass, deep golden color long lasting thin white head with nice lacing. Balanced sweet and bitter flavors delivered in a clean refreshing palate. Definitely more than just a pale ale. CraftBeerNick (2831) - London Town, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 30, 2015

12FL OZ ($20 12pack) pretty smooth Pale Ale. Liked this one for its taste too. came off a tad IPA like which was not so great but it was hoppy. but overall its a great beer. Ratpatrol1019 (70) - Palm desert, California, USA - JUN 9, 2015
I am going to miss this old friend. Pale 2.0 is bad. This one was great pine and subtle floral hop aroma. Taste of light malts and super fresh hops. Great dry finish, a superb pale ale. Sorry to see it go. GlennHendry (506) - OSHAWA, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 8, 2015
Smells of sweet malts and pine. It was quite complex and actually more like Arrogant Bastard than Stone IPA. Dark fruits on the tongue with more pine and hints of citrus and cherry. Far more robust than the ABV would indicate. Bebum (1087) - Massachusetts, USA - MAY 31, 2015
Amber, hazy, tall head.
Full body, moderate flavor, silky texture, good carbonation, low heat, long palate. Moderate bitterness, dry but somehow pleasantly balanced, low acidity.
Hoppy but also very malty, resiny and yeasty.
Very drinkable, deliciously malty.

Tap at La Puerta in San Diego. Pint mug. Impressive near amber color. Golden tinge. White froth about a half finger. Taste represents the Stone name well...plenty of bitter hops reign supreme. Almost overpowers all else but grassy and floral notes try to come through. Lingering aftertaste that is committed to the cause. Good aggressive pale ale.
