smooth, clean ale with faint citrus and honey flavor notes and a dry finish. There taste a measure of British specialty malt wether there is any or not it tastes that way. This is my bottled beer of choice with best balance of malt hops and fruity esters. Total consistencey with any aspect ot this brew.

I’m a big Stone fan like many posters on this board, but I’m probably going against the grain when I say that I think this is one of their best. No, this one’s not over the top in the hops dept. like their famous IPAs, and I think it might almost be misclassified as an American pale ale as well. What it is, is an exceptionally well balanced pale/amber ale, with no overwhelmingly pronounced single characteristic. Its actually what I expect every ’Oktoberfest beer to be, only to be so quickly dissappointed once the first cap comes off. This is an EXCEPTIONAL beer, whether or not it’s true to the American pale ale style or imagined Stone standard for hoppiness or not. I love it!

Pours a beautiful crimson with a light, slightly tan head. Slightly sweet aroma and a distinct yet light citrus hop note. Quite crisp yet very mellow on the palate with a very even balance between hop and malt. Finishes exceptionally cleanly with a slight lingering hop bite. A marvelously well balanced pale. Very sessionable.

Pours a deep clear coppery amber body with a small white head. Aroma is sweet caramel and pine with syrupy "DIPA-ish" tones and hints of apricot and red fruits. Taste is dense syrupy pine and caramel tones, apricot and hints of cherries. Medium body and carbonation.

Damn good pale...almost perfect...always a go to. So glad this is so readily available. Nice hoppy aroma, great bready malt biscut flavor and super dry crisp finish.

One word to start: Impressive. Pours out to a beautiful copper color. Aroma is that of caramel, hops and fruit. The balance to this Pale Ale is nearly perfect. The hops are tasty, not shocking, and make this beer downright, delicious. I kept humming/singing ’Stone Brew’ to the tune of Foghat’s ’Stone Blue’ (for the 70s challened, Foghat was a hard rock act.) as I drank it. One of, if not the best pale out there. Yum.

I picked up a bottle of this because it was rated so high here. Wow! Perfectly balanced.

Another fine Ale from Stone. This one is at least the equal to Sierra Nevada, but with Stone IPA and Arogant Bastard on Tap,this one finishes third.

How do these guys do it ? They cornered the market on the worlds best brewery. Genius, pure genius. This brew pours amber honey w/ a shallow, creamy froth. Aroma is malty. Medium nectar w/ ample residual effers. Flavors are bright and mellow with a malty fruit character. The finish has a perfect bittering yet wet. Overall: I like it alot. Nice finish, refined, well ballanced. It’s perfect.
