Sampled on draft this beer poured an orange caramel color with a medium sized foamy orange tan head that left good lacing. The aroma was earthy with ginger powder, pine and a hint of juniper. The flavor was bitter with notes of ginger powder, pine, green tea and juniper. Long finish. Moderately full bodied. Meh. PugUglyBrewer (691) - - AUG 7, 2017
A bit haze going on in this burnt orange with golden highlight colored brew. A creamy head of off white foam sits on top. Spicy ginger intensified by the lime with juniper appearing in and all around. A complex double IPA from one of the masters of the IPA. JohananaV2 (216) - - AUG 6, 2017
Holy shit this beer blew my mind. It's so flavorful and I didn't even have it on tap. So god damn delicious I would have it again in a heartbeat

Draft. Pours a thick, well retained ivory head, over a hazy amber (SRM 7) body....nose is pine, resin, multiple fruits including lemon, lime, mild malt sweetness.....taste is sweet malts with bread, cracker tones, multiple fruits including lemon, lime tones hints of mango with peach, apricot tones, pine resin finishing with moderate hop bitterness......mouth feel, rich, thick, sticky body, heavy alcohol, moderate carbonation slight astringency. This is a very complex beer, which could be considered slightly muddled with all of the botanical additions. BJCP 8/3/13/4/7 explosivedog (1281) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - JUL 30, 2017

12 oz bottle. Pours a rusty coppery color with a medium off white head. Aroma of tangy malt, juniper, ginger, lemon and hops. Taste of juniper, ginger, lemon peel, malt and hops. A bit on the tangy side. Ethan07 (2) - - JUL 22, 2017 does not count
This is a little ripper, it's a great beer that has gin flavour, what could possibly go wrong. Good alcohol level to go with, I keep going back to this beer and every time I end up not disappointed, if you like gin and beer you must go there.

Poured a translucent dark amber with a 5mm beige frothy head that retained very well and laced OK. Carbonation high, lively and fine to medium. Aroma is quite strong and something new - spices including ginger, citrus/lemon, hints of juniper, hints of pine. Taste is moderately bitter initially followed by ginger spiciness (more ginger than juniper), citrus (orange) and caramel malt. Medium body. Smooth with semi-sweetness and soft, subtle ginger spiciness on a short finish. Nice. varanid99 (1250) - AUSTRALIA - JUL 13, 2017
Orange/gold, slightly hazy pour, with a decent off white head. Caramel, pine, citrus, ginger, faint bit of juniper (although I might just be using my imagination). Juniper definitely comes through more in the flavour, with orange, caramel, a bit spicy, but the ginger is maybe a little too much drsordr (2732) - Loveland, Ohio, USA - JUL 7, 2017
Bottle pour avg gold with moderate white head. Nose dank hop, faint juniper, could imagine gin, some earthy ginger. Taste similar to nose, dank and earthy, with background of candied ginger. Meh.
