Pours dark orange with nice head. Aroma: junipers, a touch of ginger, a little bit of citrus (from the peel?). Taste: fruity, but also malty, with the latter coupling well with the ginger. Alcoholl well hidden. Very drinkable. Chudwick (3181) - Taylor Mill, Kentucky, USA - JUN 9, 2017
Taster - nose is light resin. Sip adds pine and other floor cleaners. Hoppy finish with a malty backbone.

Pours dark amber, almost copper. Nose shows syrupy and bready malt by the truckload along with herbal and spicy hops and some juniper.
Flavours inlcude heavy ginger, juniper, spruce, pine, booze and syrupy malt. Finishes a bit astringent. bhensonb (15088) - Woodland, California, USA - MAY 28, 2017
Bottle from Bine & Vine. Pours clear copper with a foamy near-beige head. Aroma of juniper and lime. Med body or so. Flavor is "gin" over some mildly roasty malt. Mostly "gin". Like gin. "Gin" gets points! Did I say I like gin? It’s earthy, juniper bitter. Nice drink indeed. Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - MAY 21, 2017
Bottle into tulip glass, the appearance was a copper color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head. Soft dissipation to leave some light lace.
The aroma had some berries, juniper/pine, ginger, citrus, caramel/toast-like malt and a little bit of earthiness.
The flavor copied the aroma pretty much spot on - sweet to bitter to spicy and slightly zesty. Aftertaste was semi-sweet with a touch of spice. Finish was the same.
The palate was almost medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Light carbonation but felt acceptable since I figured it wanted to coincide with the ginger that they put in this. Which I say was a good idea to keep at the right level. ABV felt fine.
Overall, the concept behind this was a great idea. The execution was pretty good, however if one of our top notch micro breweries in the US catches this one, they could really skate pass this one by Stone in the ranks, I bet. Strykzone (7305) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - MAY 14, 2017
12 oz. bottle. Aroma is dominated by big citrus and tropical fruit but the flavor begins with the juniper and ginger and that leads. This is also plenty malts with biscuits and cereal flavors. Good stuff. Stew41 (2021) - Phuket, THAILAND - MAY 14, 2017
Serious weight but very very impressive that the additives come through so clean and clean, particularly on the nose. Big fragrant lift. Does get funky and heavy late but only a minor hindrance. Wonderful fruit aromas.
