This gin-like elixir harkens back to earlier times when these traditional botanicals were used in brewing and distilling. The selection of juniper, lemon and lime peel elevates this double IPAs citrusy flavor by imparting fragrant, earthy dryness. Furthermore, we spiced up the traditional ingredient list with fresh ginger to create our own unique concoction and bring the flavor profile into the modern-day epitome of the gin spirit.

It pours a light amber with an off white head. The head retention is good and leaves some lacing as it recedes. The aromas are full of flowery elements. There are almost rose like aromas with lemon and lime elements. There are low spices in the background with a bit of juniper and ginger. It has a very complex flavor that is unique to most of the beers that Ive had. The juniper berries and ginger take center stage with flowers mixing in with the initial taste. It is spicy overall with the flavor. There is a low flavor of lemon and limes in the background. It is balance towards the hpos with the malts barley noticeable. It has a moderate body with is quite spicy and moderate bitter and dry in the finish. Overall, this is a very unique beer with the different flavors, but they only really partially work for me.

12oz bottle pours with a crystal clear copper body that supports a thin tan head of foam. The aroma offers up loads of flowery juniper and then ginger, a dash of berry and then a faint crystal malt sensation. The taste delivers full smooth juniper that has a soft pine sap edge to it. Behind the juniper is a firm ginger note blended in with sweet malts and thin crystal maltiness. This has enough thickness and heft to keep the juniper and ginger in check. Pretty nice.

Like gin, love IPAs, yet Im not diggin this beer. Focuses more on the liquor side of the equation, offering up equal massive amounts of juniper and ginger, with a brown sugar sweetness fattening up the bottom end. Hops dont play much of a part; citrus comes from the lemon and lime peel, and, while the finish has an appreciable tonic bitterness to it, Im not wanting a G&T. Fade brings out even more ginger and herbal/piney juniper briskness, wiping away any pretense of this being an India Pale Ale. Interesting gimmick, meh brew.

Pour is copper, off white head. Too strong in the lemon and ginger for my liking. Not much hop aroma or presence. Bottle is a Month old.

Pours copper amber with a one finger off white head with pretty nice lacing. Aroma is of citrus, juniper, ginger, pine, spicy herbs, and some lemon peel. Taste is similar to the aroma with the addition of some light bready like malts. Has a medium body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a semi dry, moderately bitter, long finish. Overall, a tasty, very interesting DIPA that actually does taste like gin.

Pretty balanced. Not too bitter. Not totally my style due to the ginger but I liked it.

Really enjoyed the juniper in both aroma and taste. Touch too much ginger. Dark Amber color, and very clear. 8.7% ABV well hidden.
