This gin-like elixir harkens back to earlier times when these traditional botanicals were used in brewing and distilling. The selection of juniper, lemon and lime peel elevates this double IPA’s citrusy flavor by imparting fragrant, earthy dryness. Furthermore, we spiced up the traditional ingredient list with fresh ginger to create our own unique concoction and bring the flavor profile into the modern-day epitome of the gin spirit.

Bottle picked up from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, nr Gent, Belgium another beer that Dominique pointed out to me. Consumed at home Thursday 14th December 2017 whilst Loz cooking Gnocchi Carbonara. Pours amber, a big typical American DIPA, malty but a good underlying hoppiness. Sweet, a little spicey it's more hoppy Barley Wine but it is lovely. Thick in the mouth, some toffee, a little hoppy numbing, great beer, really fab'. I don't completely get all of the Gin bollocks, it's refreshing, clean at times but just really like it. bottle rated in early 2017 - Copper pour. The aroma is of resinous hops, ginger, and citrus. The hoppy flavor has pine and ginger, a touch of citrus, and a sort of earthy character. Medium to full bodied. Interesting.

bottle. Golden with one finger head. Gin forward IPA. Very resiny, pine, lightly sweet and boozy. Fairly interesting flavors that seem to work pretty well together.

BillWyce (1110) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 27, 2017
Pours clear amber with a 3-finger off-white head. Aroma is mostly citrus peel, with mild notes of evergreen and ginger at the back. Body is medium-to-full and oily. Astringent finish. Bitter, hoppy flavors, a bit of citrus. Piney notes from the juniper and a touch of heat from the ginger.

UPDATED: SEP 10, 2017 Bottle from giant eagle gahanna. Nose is hop and ginger with lemon rind. Body is medium and somewhat thin with weak carbonation. Ginger and hop acridity dont go well imo. Hops are really dry here and doesnt make for a good brew. Glad i only have one.

Really dont like gin, so this flavor profile isnt ideal. The ginger is a little overwhelming as well.
