COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This gin-like elixir harkens back to earlier times when these traditional botanicals were used in brewing and distilling. The selection of juniper, lemon and lime peel elevates this double IPA’s citrusy flavor by imparting fragrant, earthy dryness. Furthermore, we spiced up the traditional ingredient list with fresh ginger to create our own unique concoction and bring the flavor profile into the modern-day epitome of the gin spirit.

As ’ Jindia Pale Ale - The Finest Double IPA’. Bright clear gold - amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, reasonable carbonation. Light malts, mildly sweet. Fruity ginger and a fairly intense mix of ginger spice and hop spice. Touch of orange peel and some generic tangy fruit. Light semi dry finish. Long spicy linger. Interesting DIPA with it’s double barrel spice. Good fun.

On tap at Stone Escondido, pours a hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out light ginger, a touch of juniper, and resinous hops. Flavour brings out lots of resinous upfront, accentuated by minor hints of juniper and ginger. Nice addition of the spices that don’t detract or dominate. Very good.

Bottle from Bine & Vine. Pours clear copper with a foamy near-beige head. Aroma of juniper and lime. Med body or so. Flavor is "gin" over some mildly roasty malt. Mostly "gin". Like gin. "Gin" gets points! Did I say I like gin? It’s earthy, juniper bitter. Nice drink indeed.

Draft. Poured clear brass color with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Medium complex citrus and earthy aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This is a good beer.

12 ounce bottle. Slightly hazy copper, moderate creamy tan head, decent retention. Aroma of pine, juniper, oak, citrus, lime. The taste is strong juniper, pine, candied lemon and lime, floral notes, pale malt. Medium bodied, strong lingering bitterness. A little bit of a chemical note, but pretty solid and unique. Enjoyable.

355ml bottle. Amber pour. I don’t think it has that many ginlike qualities, definitely a huge last of juniper but also some basic hefeweizen clovey nutmeg flavors. Tastes like a wintery double ipa, a bit too sweet and boozy for my taste and the spice character is a bit over the top.
