COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This aint no just-add-juice approach. This one is for adults. We use bountiful whole tangerine pure, which brings pithy, crisp bitterness to the citrus flavor. In addition to the complexities of the tangerine the likes of which you can only get by using the whole fruit we judiciously employ just a hint of whole pineapple for a backnote (youd likely not even pick it out of the mix if we didnt tell you it was there). Were not looking for a sweet concoction to appease the I want my beer to taste like fruit juice crowd. This is Stone. We like our IPAs to taste like IPAs. Big, bold and not for kids.

Tap patricks. Aroma of BO. Taste is chewing on unripe tangerine skins & peels. Long bitter IPA effects, almost astringent, whew. Hints of orange in ther of course. Yes, quite astringent thu out. Just another ubiquitous IPA thang, we need to split this IPA thang up into smaller subgroups fer sher. A little green grapefruit rind on the finish.

Juicy, though I have to say Ive had juicier IPAs that didnt even have any fruit added. Certainly tasty enough but not as bold as they seem to think it is.

This is what you would call a perfect IPA: clear and bright amber, white head, some lacing; beautiful fruity aroma of tangerine and pineapple. Crisp and refreshing with its fruity character of real tangerine, with caramel, resin, pine, pineapple. Body is light, carbonation is just perfect, finish is mild bitter... ... But... its an IPA like tons of other, yes its good, but it hasnt got a distinctive soul. Very good, but somehow empty.

Bomber from Xroads. Poured a bright clear rusty orange with tons of rising effervescence and an average sized bright white foamy head. Aroma is harsh and bitter with notes of older grainy bread crusts, bad orange get creme sickle bars, rust. Medium to slightly fuller body, syrupy at first but finishes harshly bitter with strong carbonation. Flavor is bad creme sickle pops, old bread, vanilla, harsh citrus rind, dry old hops.
