Hazy amber beer with a big off white head. The head tastes of coconut cream! Palate is sotfish with fine carbonation. Very light coconut. Light ripe orange hops. Whisper of skunk. Nice pine. Finishes smooth and soft. Comes together well and is very drinkable.
On tap at Belmont Station Bier Cafe, pours a clear golden with a small off-white head. Aroma of piney hops, subtle coconut, and some citrus. Flavour doesn’t bring out a whole lot of coconut, though it is there buried underneath the piney hops. Very bitter but refreshingly hoppy at the same time. The coconut is not too prominent, but is executed expertly subtly. Awesome IPA. Benzai (16751) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - OCT 24, 2013
Bottle shared by Joes @ weekly tasting. Opaque hazy yellow color, small off - white head. Aroma is malts, hops, yeast. Taste malts, hops, bitter, a slight touch of citra hops. Quite simple but genius. I must say though, I don’t get any coconut. Fortunately I’d say. Medium body and carbonation. Ferris (16686) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 4, 2013
Draft - Orange, passion fruit and a bit of pine. Clear gold and a thin white head. Nice bitter IPA with a bit of fruit and grapefruit and the coconut adds a nice upper palate sweetness. Coconut is subtle but you get the roast, and finish is the standard Stone IPA.

Early that evening, womencantsail went out to the bar with the suggestively dressed women and the blasphemous theme. Arriving at the bar, he saw ChinoSkillzian sitting under the big beer sign looking tired rather than exuberant in his bright white shirt. ChinoSkillzian waved to him as he entered the threshold. At the table, womencantsail found a pint of R&R Coconut IPA and sitting in front of it, noted the clear orange hue and the soft white head. He inspected its aroma with great interest, noting scents of coconut, pine, grapefruit, and tropical fruits. Without hesitation, he lifted the glass to his mouth, tilting it back to release the contents within. Flavors of bitter pine, grapefruit, and sweet coconut danced on the tongue. Sticky, almost chewy, he at least finished the gulp of this new libation. bhensonb (15832) - Woodland, California, USA - AUG 10, 2013
Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours clear copper with a creamy white head. Aroma is citrus/melon. Med body. Flavor is very mixed fruit with a touch of pine. Nice caramel backbone. It is not harshly bitter, and it is not entirely dry. Dry is arguable. But the flavor is very delicious. Comparing impressions 2 of us were hard put to find coconut. Toasting coconut may mar the flavor into unfamiliarity here. Very good drink - coconut or no. djd07 (15649) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAY 28, 2015
On tap at the Wine Bar Destin. Pours a cloudy orange with medium frothy white head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is strong tropical fruit and floral hop. Medium mouthfeel with strong citrus, grapefruit, lingering bitterness, not much coconut flavor, very nice. Ratman197 (15440) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - AUG 5, 2013
Bomber poured a clear tarnished gold with a lasting ivory head. Aromas of coconut, bread, mango, peach, passion fruit and melon. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, coconut, light tropical fruit and light citrus with a smooth dry lightly bitter coconut finish. Stuu666 (15034) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUL 24, 2014
