UPDATED: AUG 24, 2017 Cloudy with thin lacy head, looks dangerous! Lots of orange and citrus in aroma. Taste is packed full of vanilla, perhaps too much for me. But still very interesting, and grows on me the more I drink. Orange peel adds a great bitter, pith flavour. Tastes dangerous!

UPDATED: AUG 20, 2017 640 ML bottle from Plonk in Canberra. clear orange amber color. off white head. good retention to head before falling to a thick collar. nose is citrus, booze, pine, and creamsickle. kind of amaretto in a way. taste is aggressie pine and citrus with orange cream backbone. lots of resin. feel is sticky sweet. slow sipper. fair amout of booze. feels a bit artifical and not as good as the regular beer. interesting enough however

Tap at Logan’s. Deep golden orange with one finger head. Orange is sweet and slightly artificial, but it all melds really well.

Aroma is citrus/vanilla and spicy/piney hops. The flavor is citrus/orange, vanilla, citrus, malts and a bitter/spicy finish.

Clear copper pour with nice sized white head. Big fresh squeezed oj nose with vanilla bean. Flavor is much the same with punch you in the face with hops and subtle finish of the vanilla. Very interesting.

Keg at the RVA brewery, 8/5/16. Clear copper, thin fizzy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of vanilla, orange, pale malt, hints of soy. The taste is vanilla, pine, orange, pale malt. Medium bodied.

Pours hazy gold with a fine white head. Nose is strong floral hops with a bit of a citrus sweetness boosting it. Flavor is similar for a moment. . . then the vanilla kicks in hard. The finish is like an orange creamsicle with the hop profile totally overwhelmed by the dessert quality. Very unique and good.

gold pour, soapy white lacing. aroma of orange and resiny. tastes are big vanilla up front with big artificial orange and citrus peel after. don’t get typical ruination tastes until very end - floral bitter, citrus. not bad would like more vanilla

Pours gold. Very strong citrus hop and vanilla aroma. Unique flavor that starts strong with hops but ends like a creamsicille with orange and vanilla - like a cream ale. A light bitter aftertaste.

32oz growler pours with a crystal clear pure gold body that supports a light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up juicy orange and tangerine flowing into fresh smooth vanilla bean notes. The taste begins with juicy citrus hops along with a bigger citrus bitter hop bite. It then quickly rolls into smooth sweet vanilla bean that creates such a wonderful contrast to the mostly citrus bitter hoppiness. It then heads toward the finish with a pleasing woven tapestry of bitter citrus hops, some juicy citrus and a smooth sweet vanilla note. I love the way this comes together. Very fun and unique beer.
