Good and different but not as good as the original. Aroma of cherries and hops. Dark golden color with a white head. This was from a firkin; however, the carbonation seemed good. The palate was smooth and creamy. This was a mellowed version of the beer. Hops came first and were immediately followed by flavors of cherry and strawberry with sweetness of the oak at the finish. Worth a try if you can find it. Ratman197 (15608) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - OCT 9, 2013
On tap at Back Country Pizza poured a clear golden amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of oak, vanilla, biscuit, cherries, light grapefruit and light pine. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of oak, vanilla, cherry, light grapefruit and light pine with a smooth dry bitter lingering oaky cherry finish.
