The most prevelant feature of this beer to me is pine sap, the aroma, flavor, aftertaste and even the color bear a strong resimbalence to pine sap (in a good way of course). Like the bottle warns watch out for the bitterness, however it goes down rather smooth considering the IBU’s. Overall it was a pretty good IIPA not sure if its my favorite but its up there. 355ml bottle at the Head of Steam, Durham. Cloudy yellow pour with a fine white head. Powerfully hoppy aroma balanced by wholemeal bread. Strong IPA flavour, with lingering bitterness.

Fresh from the tap at Gesundbrewing in the Castle Pub. Golden-yellow in the glass with stable white head. Genial !!! The whole spectrum, what the hopd can give. Long bitterness in the mouth (100+ IBUs!!!). A so called beer for the fame of the hops. It’s real !!! markextrae (4666) - Alingsås, SWEDEN, SWEDEN - JUN 30, 2016
deep dark golden to orange colour with a white head. nose of light crisp malts, grass hops, grains, sweet tropical fruits, mango, and light pineapple. taste follows the nose, nice fruit hops bitterness, light sweetness of caramel. light bitter aftertaste. enjoyable borre_m (1739) - NORWAY - JUN 22, 2016
Pours slightly cloudy golden. Aroma is hoppy, but balanced. Taste is hoppy, pine, lots of bitterness. Lore (3023) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUN 3, 2016
clear golden colour, huge, creamy yellowish off-white head; aroma of overripe grapefruit, tangerine, maybe mango, too, pine resin, and some herbal notes; taste is the same with biscuits, syrupy notes and some peppery spiciness; perfect balance of hops and malts! I love it! LRonCupboard (73) - Belfast, NORTHERN IRELAND - MAY 26, 2016
Keg at Bitter Phew. Look, it’s good, but not worth wetting your kecks over. Kind of like the NZ Sauvignon Blanc trend, the mega hoppy IPA thing will probably fade as the hipsters grow up. Hazy orange, off white head. Big citrus hoppy aroma with slight flowery edge prepares you for..... surprise surprise.... a big hoppy hit that hangs around for ages in a long bitter bitter finish. Kecks remain thankfully bone dry
