So called because of the immediate ruinous effect on your palate. 100+ IBUs. Bracingly bitter. Thick, pungent hop aroma. We would say that no hops were injured in the brewing of this beer, but that would be a massive lie. In fact, the words "Stone Ruination IPA" are what older hop vines use to cause little hop vines to quiver with fright and lose sleep at night . We at Stone honor the brutal massacre of countless hops with this "Liquid poem to the glory of the hop!" Paganism at its best!

Love Ruination, and I do most all Stone products. The hopping here is fantastic, lots of intense flavors with citrus and to me almost a mint/piny taste. A tad to "bitter" for me, but I still buy this all the time.

Golden colored with a white smooth head. Aggressive but pleasant bitterness, strong and hoppy flavours.

Turboninja (849) - Tampere, FINLAND - DEC 23, 2015
[email protected] Culture, NYC, USA. Medium, rich aroma of over aged mango. Deep golden color with medium white head and slightly hazy liquid. Strong, sturdy balanced taste overaged mango, some piney bite and a hint of malts. Wide taste spectrum and long smooth hoppy aftertaste with sweet malts. Medium body with medium/low carbonation. Overall, schoolbook like American DIPA with not so much sweetness and with piney twist. Superb.
