Bomber. Golden pour with frothy white head. Very nice floral nose of pine and citrus. Taste is over the top pine, with citrus and floral notes. Hardly a lick of any sweet malt backbone which really ruins this beer for me. Thin in the palate. Very one dimensional bitterness bomb. drsordr (2794) - Loveland, Ohio, USA - JUL 2, 2013
Draft at Mello Fellow in Truckee CA. Pours a clear orange. Nose with abundant mango, pine, and resin hop. Taste grapefruit bite with mango fruit hop, tropical fruit sweetness, mid palate strong bitterness. Another excellent big IPA from Stone. wildbeercat (356) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - JUL 2, 2013
22 fl oz / 650mL bottle into a pint glass. Served cool.
Aroma: Bursting with citrus and pine hop aroma. There’s some mild-moderate malt backing it up too.
Appearance: Clear orange with a light, white head. It’s less translucent than regular Ruination.
Taste: Big, big hop profile, full of pine and citrus and it’s fantastic. A tiny bit of malt semi-sweetness backs it up.
Palate: Long, bitter finish. So, so good.
Overall: What a fantastic brew. It’s more bitter than Ruination, and slightly more malty, but it’s pretty subtle. Great, great beer though. kathouse (1930) - LAS VEGAS, Nevada, USA - JUL 2, 2013
Beautiful orange with a thick head. Citrus, pine, and floral hops blend well together. Deep caramel sweetness remains on the tongue while the hop flavor hides in the finish. Very well put together. conway (2210) - - JUL 2, 2013
Bottle. Copper with a thick white head. Aroma is very dank with some citrus. Taste is surprisingly malt forward with lots of caramel, rounding out with pineapple and more citrus. Solid palate. Very tasty.

Pours a hazy orange rusty color. Nose is off citrus with very strong pine. Taste is very bitter with citrus, pine and a woody resin taste. Finish is dry with heavy bitter lingering. Feel I might be missing something ... But just not for me. Quaff score 6 / 10 zgaier (1962) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - JUL 2, 2013
Pours dark orange with a beige head and sweet, pleasant aroma of citrus, fruits, and hops. Taste is bitter throughout, lots of citrus, hop, grapefruit, pine, and sweet caramel hit your palate leading to a a slight burning, bitter, long finish. On tap at Aces & Ales in Las Vegas - reddish amber pour - minimal head when it arrived at the table - leaves good lacing as it drinks. Aroma is relatively intense - heavily hopped...grapefruit, pine, some other citrus - hints of bread underneath - very resinous and enjoyable. Flavor is nice as well - had this one right after the FW Double Jack, and it was definitely a notch lower - but still good - heavily hopped, the hops are the show here, and although there is decent malt bill to fill this one out, there was a high level of bitterness throughout. Palate was creamy and thick - easy enough to drink, but heavy. Good beer that is very reminiscent of Ruination, and that is definitely not a bad thing! AxlLives (288) - Maryland, USA - JUL 2, 2013
Tap pour - @ RHP. Pours brilliant gold-orange with huge lasting fluffy white head. Big aromas of grapefruit, pine, and pungent oranges. Beautiful hoppy citrus and pine fruit on the palate. Big bitter and biting. Long finish. Delicious. West Coast hell yeah. warhawk91 (302) - Newington, Connecticut, USA - JUL 1, 2013
22 oz. bomber purchased from Max Liquor at Bishop’s Corner in West Hartford, CT. Pours a deep golden, off white head, pretty good lacing. Smell is awesome, every great hop characteristic under the sun comes forward here. Taste is a slightly sweet luscious hop bomb. Tons of citrus and pine, perfect bitterness, plus a pleasant alcohol kick. Mouth feel is perfect for the style, slightly syrupy, yet crisp. Awesome DIPA, will be sure to pick up another.
