In June 2012, we celebrated the 10th birthday of our notoriously mega-hopped double IPA, Stone Ruination IPA, with the release of a very special version that was even bigger and, incredibly, even hoppier than the original. If Stone Ruination IPA is “A Liquid Poem to the Glory of the Hop,” then Stone Ruination Tenth Anniversary IPA was an amped-up heavy metal version of that ode delivered with the force of a sledgehammer. Luckily for us, our fans love loud and aggressive brews, specifically when copious amounts of humulus lupulus are involved. The original release of this beer was so instantly beloved by those who dared try it

Tap at Craffity, Chiang Mai. Poured a hazy medium amber with a short-lived frothy white head. The aroma is malt, big tropical fruit citrus, resin hop, alcohol bitter. The flavour is moderate sweet with a sweet orange peel citrus, woody, resin hop, warm burning alcohol bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

November 29, 2013 - with blankboy, gregclow, jercraigs & mabel - bomber. Hazy light amber with a smallish white bubbly head. "Smells like Stone" - resin, floral, sweet yet dry, alcohol for sure - quite a lot of pineapple. Taste follows, but add citrus and citrus zest, strong alcohol. Average body and carbonation, astringent, medium long fruity/bitter finish, never OTT but big enough ... I’d have it again.

One of my favorites. Slight lack of head retention but other than that, near perfect. Coppery color with caramel and molasses flavor balanced by hop bitterness. Thick and full-bodied.

UPDATED: JUL 1, 2017 22 oz bottle from Wegmans in Short Pump, VA The ale poured a clear amber color with a huge frothy off white head. Some lacing. The aroma of tropical fruit and some sugary notes. The taste is clean with strawberries and citrus bitterness. the ale has a medium body with average carbonation. This is a BIG IPA. Ten percent maybe my outer limits for beer ABV. Despite massive hop flavor, bitterness is smooth, and the alcohol’s deftly hidden. I corked the bottle to drink two days later. The Triple IPA poured a nice foamy head and same great taste. This a quality beer.

Bottle, thanks for sharing! Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of bitter citrus and grass with some sweet grains underlying. Flavor has creamy sweet grains with sweet citrus with of grains and a bit of sweetness underlying.

600ml bottle served in a snifter glass. Pours a slightly cloudy orange to amber color forming a medium, creamy and solid beige head with medium retention and lots of molasses lacings formed and left in the glass. Nose of very sweet, fruity and flowery. Strong notes of caramel and pine. Grapefruit and honey. Slightly sweet upfront taste too. Again, Strong notes of caramel and grapefruit. Strong bitterness. Very grassy bittersweet balance. Heavy and molasses body. Medium carbonation. Caramel, grapefruit and pine in the aftertaste. Excellent IIPA. Masterpiece.

Gift bomber. Quiet pour with modest carbonation and a reserved aroma of citrus and pine. The beer is a golden orange colour with a white head and good lace. The taste is smooth and malty sweet with notes of caramel and hop dryness expanding into the middle. Hops are aggressive in the finish with hints of grapefruit and pine resin. Good mouthfeel throughout and a long warming alcohol glow at the very end. Good!

AssKicker (754) - Strasbourg, FRANCE - FEB 21, 2017

LazyPyro (1935) - Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - FEB 18, 2017
650ml bottle. Pours a clear orange colour with a big frothy off-white head. Aroma of resin, pine, fruity, grapefruit, marmalade, malty, caramel, spicy, the taste is exactly all that too. Some sweetness with a lasting bitter finish. Mouthfeel is smooth. Alcohol has a warming feeling but it’s actually fairly well hidden when you consider the ABV. What an awesome brew, really nice.
