24-09-17 // draft at Stone Brewing Tap-Takeover at Naiv in Frankfurt. Hazy orange beer. Light bodied, citric notes, herbal citrus, quite dry, some fruit touches. Good. JoeinDahlem (1604) - Berlin, GERMANY - AUG 12, 2017
From notes taken in Berlin about a year ago. SD-brewed, not Berlin-brewed, and on draft: Flowery and spicy like chamomile and clove. Too spicy, too soap-shop. Bit of black/white/green pepper. Bitterish and dryish but those -ishes are necessary. I don’t doubt the execution here, but the recipe is not to my taste, and certainly not built for drinkability. If you have to dump in the spice cabinet, at least balance that with bitterness. Sigmund (8027) - Tau, NORWAY - MAY 26, 2017
355 ml bottle, from a trade with Cunningham. ABV is 6%. Pale golden colour, crystal clear first, hazy when the yeast is poured in the end. Huge white head. Surprisingly moderate aroma of spicy saison yeast and grain, not remarkable. Spicy saison yeast in the flavour too, bitter finish. Again some grainy notes. Far from the best saison I’ve had. . john44 (3456) - SW London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 13, 2017
Keg Third of a Pint at BrewDog, Shepherds Bush, London in Jan 2016 - Clear Orangey Gold in colour. Good creamy off-white head. Excellent lacing. Fruity; orange and lemon citrus. Spicy; peppery. Yeasty. Hoppy; grassy and herbal hops. Syrupy fruity. Sweetish fruity, spicy and yeasty throughout. Easy drinking Saison.

Aroma and taste: apples and pears, a little citrus and floral hops, medium hop bitterness, drinkable. wedgie9 (2703) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 26, 2016
Tasted on 9/25/16 from a capped 12oz bottle purchased at Tops. Pours hazy deep orange with a massive, rocky white head that slowly recedes to thick, sticky, rocky lace. The nose is mostly honey and light caramel malt with some nice spicy yeast characteristics, herbal tea, and lavender. The flavor is has some of the same honey and light malt sweetness up front, moving to the saison spice, hint of bitter herbal tea, and lavender. The body is medium with lively carbonation, and a long lightly bitter, nicely spicy, honeyed finish. jookos (7160) - FINLAND - AUG 22, 2016
Bottle (viking amorella). Yellow hazy. Pretty well spiced nose. Coriander, camomille (?), citrus peely, sorta good wit- spicing with lots of saisonny dusty flouryness. Med bodied, well carbonated, flavourful intense. Flavour follows aroma pretty much, light hay malty. Pretty nice flavoured, bit witty spiced, saison.
