Cask @ Stone. Cloudy brown pour with a short beige head leaving heavy lace. Nose is slightly chocolatey and roasty, but fairly subdued. Medium body and carbonation. Roasty malt with some cocoa, nuts, light smokiness and charcoal. Coconut is very subtle, especially in comparison to the Maui Coconut Porter. Finish is medium and dry, with more charcoal and some mild sweetness. BMan1113VR (7931) - Los Angeles, California, USA - NOV 21, 2011
On cask at the Daily Pint. 2 glasses worth. Pours with a black body and a frothy tan head. Aromas of coconut, Almond Joy, chocolate, caramel and light smoke. Flavors are very smooth, sweet and mellow. Light bitterness, smoke, coconut and chocolate. Tastes like an Almond Joy. Very easy to drink. Dry enough to keep it very drinkable, light bubbles, medium bodied. Excellent! JohnnyJ (5570) - San Diego, California, USA - OCT 14, 2011
Cask at stone bistro. Very dark brown, with a creamy off-white head. Roast, light sweet chocolate, light smoke, coconut, and nuts of vanilla. Fairly light on the flavor and body, but pretty good. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - OCT 14, 2011
Dark brown with a creamy off white head. Lightly chocolate and coconut aroma. Huge roasted coconut vanilla and chocolate taste with a nice creamy palate. Like a coconut candybar.
