Pours a thick brown color with a beige cream head. Smells of.chocolate malts, vanilla, bread and coffee. Vanilla tastes first and is quickly followed by the chocolate and coffee flavored malts. Well balanced. Malts linger. Good for the style. A little sweeter than I prefer
UPDATED: NOV 1, 2016 hell of a mouthfull, in name and taste. Probably the equal to the awesome vnailla bean smoked porter. Off the charts in complexity, as you can taste the subtleties of each individual ingredient. Rich, smooth, and delicious." JohnnyJ (5569) - San Diego, California, USA - MAR 17, 2014
Cask at Stone World Bistro. Brown pour, with a slight haze and an off white head. Malty sweetness, notes of cocoa, light roast, even lighter smoke, some vanilla flavor, and very mild orange peel. Could have been better. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - JUL 8, 2011
On cask at Stone. Dark brown with a creamy tan head. Vanilla and chocolate aroma. Tastes of peated grain chocolate vanilla and earthy citrus with a creamy palate.
