3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Appearance - Body is very dark brown, but I am able to see through it when held to the light. A 1/2 finger of off-white foam forms, but fades to a ring around the glass quite quickly. Bubbles float lazily to the top, making this look like a more viscous beer.
Aroma - Smoke is not really a major player in the nose. There are toasted malt and chocolate notes as well as a touch of sharper burnt grains--possibly the smoke coming through.
T - Mildly sweet and sharp dark toasted malts up front. I get a sense of the richer chocolate and caramel malt body as well as the smokiness through the middle. Finish has a sharp bitterness from the hops/roasted grain.
Mouthfeel - Medium body with good carbonation. Finish is quite clean and leaves only a residual bitterness, but no sticky sugars.
From bomber at home. Dark brown with reddish edges and a full tan head. Smoky dark chocolate, roasted malt, coffee. Medium body. Lingering roasty, dry finish. Excellent. japppp (163) - FINLAND - AUG 12, 2017

UPDATED: JUN 16, 2017 Draught, 5.9%. Roasted and vinous aroma. Very dark brown colour. Good stable light brown head. The flavour starts off roasted and vinous as well. Turns more roasted and bitter after a while. Very light on the smoke in my opinion. But good, especially considering the moderate ABV. RoJo28 (73) - - JUN 8, 2017
It's midday. It's sunny but it's cold. The flames are out but there's still a wisp of smoke.

Draught. Dark brown with ruby reflections, with lovely beige head, lacing. Nose is, fuck, caramel, highly roast, toasted nuts, sweetness, can’t find this smoke, we do it much better in Poland. Mouth: dominated with dried red fruits (cherry, prune, with prune in the foreground), not too intense. Sweet, quite low bitterness, weak roast, moderate body.
Too watery, very low co2. Overall: not any masterpiece, can be. Proves no sense in drinking simple porters while you have baltic porter next to. This beer doesn’t know what real smoke is. oberschlesier (120) - Kattowitz, UPPER SILESIA, - MAY 12, 2017
Aroma - ripe apple (it is definitely different than in cider, more pleasant) and very, very delicate aroma of smoke. So delicate that it ’s almost imperceptible. Beer is a little watery imo, but - at all - it may be good as a session beer.
