Pours deep red. Can actually see some light through this one. Nose is actually pretty big in the citrus and fruity hops along with complex chocolate, roast and malts and light smoke. The flavor really let’s the smoke shine. It’s more intense than I remember in the past. Interesting beer for being smoked. Medium full body. smooth and carbonation is fairly prominent. bookman10 (1208) - Osseo, Minnesota, USA - DEC 3, 2011
Pours a nice, dark brownish-black with little head. Aroma of smoke and malt. Flavor is a nice blend of coffee and chocolate/licorice flavors with the smoke complementing the mixture. Unlike some smoked beers I’ve tried, the smoke here is really understated and doesn’t overpower the whole, which is, I think, a good thing. jsh12bama (761) - Alabama, USA - DEC 19, 2011
Draft. Pours black with thick off white head. Aroma of peat and chocolate. Taste has light smokiness and chocolate. Medium mouthfeel. Flavor is great with BBQ. Good beer.

650ml bottle. Pours opaque black with a very generous cream head. The nose has sultanas and just a hint of smoke. The taste is initially of chocolate and smoke, then liquorice. The palate is medium bodied with a creamy but tight texture and a long dry finish. Overall, I reckon this is a dry stout and it’s a good one. lortsker (332) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JAN 21, 2012

Pours a rich dark brown, with a medium beige head. Aroma of chocolate, dark malts, and a minimal amount of smoke. Nice malt flavor up front, with a dry chocolate settling in the background. Finishes dry with the smoke finally arriving. Very nice, and very well done. kerenmk (5169) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - FEB 25, 2012

bottle - Pours deep brown and light beige head. Nose of roasted malts and smoked meat. Medium body with medium sweetness - nice roast and hoppy sensation. Flavour of chocolate and dark fruits. Medium finish, sweet and roasted. Only in the end some hoppiness. jobrewmeister (81) - - MAR 23, 2012
Pours a nice dark color. There was a rather small head. The smell was of nice roasted malts. The taste is a mixture of mocha and smoke. Nice smooth mouthfeel. Gferrazzano (26) - - APR 18, 2012
A Sweet and well structurated Foam. Full Stout style! Not to strong and not to easy to drink. Coffee and barley smell. The smoked feeling is really strong but not intrusive.
