On tap at world of beer. Pours a light cloudy amber. Surprisingly strong on the grapefruit, but a nice bite and decent balance. Bitter, and it works.

Draft at, yup, world of beer. Clear amber pour. Minimal head. Decent lacing. Super fruity nose, lots of grapefruit, fruit and hops. Flavor is the same with a pithy bitterness, but balanced of sorts by the malt. Tying finish. After a couple sips the pithiness gets to be a bit much. Doubt I could drink more than a pint. But interesting concept. Would like to see it with a touch less bitterness

UPDATED: AUG 25, 2013 Had it at World of Beer in Evanston IL. The hop grapefruity aroma is remarkable. Light head uneven lacing the taste is heavy hop and heavier grapefruit. ACHops (1739) - Seattle, Washington, USA - AUG 22, 2013
On tap @ World of Beer Renton. Pours bright copper orange with thin lacey white head. Aroma is spicy herbal hops and bitter citrus notes. Taste is big sweet caramel malt with hugely bitter grapefruit and earthy, grassy hop finish. Heavy lingering bitterness. Kinda odd, but quite tasty. The grapefruit really crowds out the hop flavor from standard Ruination, but a nice big citrus flavor instead.

UPDATED: FEB 16, 2014 Rated as Stone Ruination Grapefruit Slam IPA (8/22/13)- On tap at World of Beer Charlotte. Pours a pale yellow orange with a fluffy white head. Huge grapefruit aroma with citrusy hops. Smooth refreshing grapefruit taste. Proper bitterness all around. Stone just made a great IPA even greater. I love this. jjuf1853 (1302) - Land O Lakes, Florida, USA - AUG 22, 2013
Draft at Land O Lakes WOB for Stonehenge event. Pours a clear, golden orange color with a small white head. Somewhat sparse sudsy lacing along the side of the glass. Aroma has a ton of grapefruit up front with hops, resin and a bit of funk. Flavor is also dominated by the grapefruit initially with the expected hop bite soon thereafter. Very tasty. jjgmd (2316) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - AUG 22, 2013
At WOB, Coconut Creek, Florida on tap.... pours a very clear amber light orange color, which was not very appealing, with a small head. Nose is bitter sweet, hoppy and full of deep ripe grapefruit. Taste is also bitter sweet, hoppy with a strong burst of grapefruit. Very drinkable, and full of taste. Finish is bitter as well and ends on the same tasting notes. While this beer was descent, are craft brewers and craft breweries entering an ERA of commercialization, $$ over quality, hope not....if so bring on the nanobreweries. On tap at World of Beer UCF. Pours a darker orange with an off white head and aroma of grapefruit and hops. Taste is all grapefruit on the palate, with hops and citrusy resin notes leading to a bitter, fruity finish. Nice IPA with tons of grapefruit flavor throughout. Golden orange pour with a white head. Holy grapefruit Batman! Dank grapefruit flavors in the aroma, lots of grapefruit and some maltiness. Pretty tasty.
