This draft brew from a restaurant was served at a cool temperature and poured a very small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a very softly carbonated body transparent yellow orange colored body and a poor lacing. The mild aroma was hoppy and fruity. The sharp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a medium citrus aftertaste. The ok flavor contained notes of citrus and hops. An OK brew just nothing special. dambor (792) - Berlin, GERMANY - OCT 19, 2017

On tap at Ellyn's Tap & Grill in Glen Ellyn, IL., and dispensed to a shaker showing a clear golden hue, with a presentable layer of soft white froth, and wavy foam to the lacing. The nose was lightly sweet, fruity perfume, apple, with scented candle spice, and some cinnamon stick. The taste was somewhat similar, with some yeasty funk & earthiness that one would usually detect in the aroma that moderately hid the esters, and aligned with an earthy & ripe bitterness. Medium bodied, with fair carbonation, a little tartness & tanginess, and a slightly dry finish. Not at all the usual citrus & pine IPA. oobawa (1660) - Tennessee, USA - OCT 18, 2017
Pretty good fruit IPA from Stone, not the tropical citrus explosion you expect but appreciably dry and offering up a lengthy bitter finish. Pineapple and mandarin oranges provide subtle juiciness on the back end, but the front comes across more Mosaic-heavy, notes of berry and bubblegum and mango mixing with the intense peppery-floral Noble-ish bitterness from the Lorals. (Not sure the point of using both Mandarina Bavarias and mandarin oranges in a beer; the excellent Moh's Mandarina from Hutton & Smith proves the former alone can make an amazing orange IPA.) Moderate caramel malts provide an orange marmalade undercurrent, and the finish packs plenty of herb, pine, and clingy IBUs. Nose offers a moderate mixture of grain and orange juice. Good creamy texture has just enough carbonation to balance the bitter and fruity characteristics. Not a homerun, but drinkable. ALIBALI (2398) - Kiel, GERMANY - OCT 18, 2017

12oz can from Three Cellars in the falls. 9/17/17 can date. Standard ipa pour with a lot of streaky lacing. A bunch of floaties, which is strange for a fresh beer. Aroma has hoppy sweet fruits, pineapple, mango. Some light toffee malt as well. Taste is of tangy sweet fruits, sweet malts, oranges. Fairly hoppy sweet, without much bitterness. lighter than medium bodied, the blend is good and there is little alcohol presence. Finishes sweeter than bittersweet. Tasty hoppy brew. 13.8 thorongil2 (3372) - , Ontario, CANADA - OCT 15, 2017

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 9/22/2017. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy golden amber/light orange color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with amazing retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, lemon/orange zest, citrus peel, pepper, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, fruit, and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, lemon/orange zest, citrus peel, pepper, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, lemon/orange rind, pepper, pine, honey, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, fruit, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 7.3%. Overall this is an excellent IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, fruit, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish. Light resins/rinds and increasing dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth and easy drinking. Intensely vibrant and dank hop character; great juicy fruit balance; nice malty backbone without being too sweet/heavy feeling. Adequate dryness without being aggressive. Great showcase of Mosaic hops, with extra dank and earthy character from the Loral. A very enjoyable offering. PorterPounder (8231) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - OCT 14, 2017
