We were inspired to brew this style of beer by the European village breweries whose ales were brewed and delivered fresh to be enjoyed in the pubs of the surrounding local area. Draught Ale is brewed to be served fresh in the many great watering holes just down the road; therefore we dont need to filter or pastuerise it. We want it to be served over the bar just like it is in our storage tank at the brewery. Brewed with local water from the Byron Bay hinterland, Australian grown barley, wheat, and hops, and carefully selected ale yeast we have crafted a beer with complex flavours and a clean bitter finish.

Formerly known as Draught Ale.

Aroma of melon. Moderate tastes of apricot. Some citrus notes and stone fruit. Subtle bitter finish. Pretty nice and balanced beer.

Was expecting more. tried it years ago and memory has it being a lot juicier. Still good beer with a lovely clean pallet and very easy to smash.

Huge stone fruit aroma. Extremely pale, clear. Mild flavour, very slight sweet and sour. Watery. Short fruity finish. Dry aftertaste. Had a few times in the pool and that is probably the best place for it.

Erbacea. Una ale semplice e beverina.

On tap at Stirling Hotel. Pours a pale straw colour with a thin head. Very tropical fruit hop aroma and taste, very light and refreshing. Perfect summer session beer

On tap at Stone & Wood, pours a cloudy yellow with a medium white head. Aroma brings out floral hops and biscuity malt in good balance. Flavour is along the same lines, with gentle floral hops and dry biscuity malt. Clean and well-balanced, with a good finish. Decent.

From Pacific Ale I was kind of hoping for a pale ale with Kiwi/Aussie hops. But I was wrong. Fair enough. Decent golden ale. Subtle grassy and citrusy notes from the hops with medium carbonation and not a lot of malt.

Bottled, 330ml from Beermerchants in Kent. Gold with white head. There was only a slight aroma on opening and then there was only a slight taste on drinking, the beer was incredibly bland and thin. No off flavours but just very little to get the flavour buds going. More a pale Aussie lager, pretty boring unfortunately.

My favourite beer hands down. Florally/fruity aroma and taste. Extremely refreshing. This rating is for out of the tap, yet out of the bottle would only be a point behind. Very consistent. Only con is that I dont think I could drink too many of these in a sitting sue to strong flavour.
