We were inspired to brew this style of beer by the European village breweries whose ales were brewed and delivered fresh to be enjoyed in the pubs of the surrounding local area. Draught Ale is brewed to be served fresh in the many great watering holes just down the road; therefore we don’t need to filter or pastuerise it. We want it to be served over the bar just like it is in our storage tank at the brewery. Brewed with local water from the Byron Bay hinterland, Australian grown barley, wheat, and hops, and carefully selected ale yeast we have crafted a beer with complex flavours and a clean bitter finish.

Formerly known as Draught Ale.

UPDATED: DEC 12, 2016 Staple beer in Australian bars now, helped bring the craft beer craze to the masses. Light fruity aroma, quite mild. Light yellow in colour with thin white head. Tropical fruit taste with some hop taste. Very crispy and refreshing.

UPDATED: JAN 22, 2017 Very pleasant and well balanced fruity, biscuity ale. Clean and fresh taste with minimal bitterness. Simple easy drinking. Sweet citris, grapefruit, passionfruit and tropical flavours with hint of spicy tang. A staple in local area. Great in a 500ml bottle. Even better on tap at local tavern.

Was expecting more. tried it years ago and memory has it being a lot juicier. Still good beer with a lovely clean pallet and very easy to smash.

Huge stone fruit aroma. Extremely pale, clear. Mild flavour, very slight sweet and sour. Watery. Short fruity finish. Dry aftertaste. Had a few times in the pool and that is probably the best place for it.

Erbacea. Una ale semplice e beverina.

On tap at Stirling Hotel. Pours a pale straw colour with a thin head. Very tropical fruit hop aroma and taste, very light and refreshing. Perfect summer session beer

On tap at Stone & Wood, pours a cloudy yellow with a medium white head. Aroma brings out floral hops and biscuity malt in good balance. Flavour is along the same lines, with gentle floral hops and dry biscuity malt. Clean and well-balanced, with a good finish. Decent.
