COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We were inspired to brew this style of beer by the European village breweries whose ales were brewed and delivered fresh to be enjoyed in the pubs of the surrounding local area. Draught Ale is brewed to be served fresh in the many great watering holes just down the road; therefore we don’t need to filter or pastuerise it. We want it to be served over the bar just like it is in our storage tank at the brewery. Brewed with local water from the Byron Bay hinterland, Australian grown barley, wheat, and hops, and carefully selected ale yeast we have crafted a beer with complex flavours and a clean bitter finish.

Formerly known as Draught Ale.

This 330ml bottle was dated best before 7 October 2015 and was poured into a pint glass. The beer poured a hazy pale yellow with a one finger big bubble head that disappears fairly quickly. It had excellent aromas! Very tropical fruit forward especially mango, pineapple, orange, peach and apricot. Like the nose, the taste is of tropical fruits. Mainly mango and peach with a slight bitter lemon finish. It was light bodied, crisp, medium carbonation and refreshing. Overall this was an a good beer, very easy to drink and great for a hot summers day.

330ml bottle. Pours clear golden with a big head, large foam bubbles that die quickly. Hoppy fresh nose. Sweet taste, slight bitterness, present hops, a bit fruity, well balanced. Light and refreshing, but still not weak. Can recommend!

Unfortunately I’m coming off an imperial stout. Pours slightly hazy gold with a moderate white head. Fruity hops (pineapple, mango) aroma. Flavor is a clean maltiness with mango notes. Light body and a clean finish. First sip was watery, but once the stout was cleaned out, it was much more on the quaffable side.

500ml bottle into glass. Strong passion fruit nose. Pale cloudy fruit juice appearance. Tastes spritzy, sherbet. Citric hop bitterness to finish. Nice, interesting.

Sweet and moderately bodied beer that loves hot weather. Fruity but quite gassy and has a lingering chemical aftertaste.
