Slightly thin, but ultimately decent porter. Not too robust, just enough to consider it average. arminjewell (9635) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - APR 12, 2011
Dark brown pour with thin tan head, aroma has slight caramel, roast and some earth. Taste is slightly thin, but notes of roast and caramel in the forefront. Braudog (6710) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - JUL 14, 2013
Draft at the brewpub. Reddish, dark brown beer. The head is thin, but sticky enough. The flavor tends toward the sweet, roasty edges, with a maltier-than-most-porters characters. Another OK offering here, but a bit unextraordinary. (#5155, 7/6/2013) nuplastikk (6252) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 21, 2013
Tap at Stonefly. Brown-black, some light shines through the edges. Steady creamy beige head. Sweet chocolate aroma, some coffee. A big, rich Porter, lots of chocolate and coffee notes. Bold and roasty, oily coffee edge. The bitterness really brings a sharp edge to it. Some fruity amber malt in the background. OK. JPDIPSO (6223) - Wauwatosa, USA - AUG 9, 2007
Lightly hazed brown liquid with a moderate to small off-white head. Day old coffee and chocolate malt aromas. Fairly thin, but not watery. Flavors of lightly burnt coffee and hints of dark chocolate. Some mild fruit and vegetable components that distract. Certainly not the worst porter I’ve had, but nothing to exciting.

Served on draught at the Wisconsin Micro-brewers Beerfest in Chilton, Wisconsin. Pours a semi hazy dark brown brew with a thin beige head that quickly dissipates to a fine film and off-white ring. Aroma of roasted dark multi-grain malts, some coffee, dark chocolate and roasted nuts. Taste is medium to full bodied, light carbonated with flavors of toasted dark malt, dark chocolate, mild coffee and some nuts. Finish is a little light with a mild dark malt aftertaste that quickly disappears. badgerben (5170) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - OCT 8, 2005
Appearance of mud with no head. Light coffee aroma. Chocolate flavor that’s quite bitter, with watery malts. Not bad. esjaygee (3904) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 13, 2009
On tap at the Stonefly brewpub. Dark brown with a quickly diminishing tan head. Aroma of caramel, roasted malts and light chocolate and coffee. Taste of roasted and dark malts, chocolate and caramel. Kind of thin mouth feel, an okay porter. 1FastSTi (3360) - Glendale, Wisconsin, USA - APR 3, 2005
Brownish color with a tan head. So-so lacing. Zero carbonation. Non-traditional porter. Very little aroma. Palate is a bit bitter, watery, with so-so carbonation. Burnt malts, roasted malts, mild dark chocolate. cbfobes (2883) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - NOV 24, 2010
On tap at brewery, pours a clear dark brown with a thin whtie head, the aroma nad taste is very malty, overall it seems like it tastes watered down and thin, not that great.
