Pours to a very dark black/brown body with a thin but dense tan nitro head. The aroma is creamy, milky, chocolatey, and roasty. The flavor is creamy dry/sweet chocolate. The palate is nicely smooth, dry, and creamy and is perfect for an Irish stout. Quite good. DavidP (1748) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 19, 2006
My first Stonefly nee Onopa beer. Black body, foamy tan head. Dry roasted malt aroma. Roast and chocolate in the flavor with acidic grape skin/cherry at the end. Lasting malt roast overal in the finish; medium mouthfeel. A tasty stout, it has a good mix of chocolate malt and roast.
