Light lager. Touch of biscuity malt, but it’s hard to find if you’re gulping a frozen mug of the stuff. Too much acidity in the finish (reminds me of some Chinese lagers). I respect the history of these old breweries, but sometimes the beer just doesn’t live up. brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - FEB 17, 2011
A: Pours a crystal clear pale yellow color with a short lived white head.
S: Smells sour right off the bat. Sweet corn and grain and a bit of a grass aroma. Not much to say about this, to be honest.
T: Overly sweet and medicinal. Cough syrup, orange, corn tortilla, and old, decaying grain. Just not pleasing in any sense.
M: The body is light, but it sits on the tongue too long. Medium in carbonation.
D: This was pretty awful. No wonder it only costs $0.50 a can. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - APR 13, 2012
(16oz can, courtesy of Fratto) Pours a clear pale yellow body with a medium white head. Aroma of grain, light fruit sweetness, and crackers. Flavor of grain and grass. Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - MAY 28, 2001
pale yellow colour, few head, carton-like aroma, fresh, flat with a persistent plastic aftertaste. douglas88 (9188) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 29, 2014
12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear yellow color with a large white head. A light sweet grainy nose. The flavor is light mostly clean malts, honey, cereal. Ok lager. Metallic.

Tastes like your Dad's beer when you would steal a sip as a kid. Specimen colored - no head, faint fruity aroma. Bland, middle of the road flavor - not leaning towards either hops or malt. Did not expect much - but better than expected, nothing offensive - little metallic in the aftertaste. BMan1113VR (7931) - Los Angeles, California, USA - MAY 29, 2012
Can complements of Fratto. Pours with a small white head that is quick to fade over a clear, pale gold body. Aromas are of DMS, cornflakes, biscuity and lightly grassy. Clean otherwise. Flavors are corn like, medium malt, bready, biscuity. Low bitterness, lively bubbles, dry and thin. FROTHINGSLOSH (7796) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 18, 2008
Sampled from a 12 oz can this beer poured a bright golden color with a medium sized white head that faded quickly. The aroma was sour, tangy and a bit dry. The flavor was lightly sour, tangy and a bit dry with almost no finish. Bland but inoffensive. Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 7, 2005
Smell was decent, a bit corny, appearance was like any pale lager, flavor was decent but definately nothing to brag about, palate was watery. Total was 7/20 due to somewhat cheapness. blutt59 (6564) - Dallas, Texas, USA - APR 13, 2012
Can from fratto, clear yellow with white foam, generic malty corn flavors, plain watery finish
