COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A higher alcohol content and house-made raspberry syrup take this traditionally sour wheat beer to a new level.

On tap at St. Augustineís, pours a cloudy faded blond with a small white head. Aroma is lemony and sort of sweet, with a bunch of wheaty notes as well. Flavour tastes more like a funky gueuze than a Berliner - this is rather exquisite. Long duration of funky horse blanket. Highly drinkable and flavourful. Not a Berliner, but this is damn excellent.

Draught at St. Augustineís, Vancouver
Muddy light amber color, with a strange red twig on the top of the small foam. Very nice aroma, delicate fruity and sour, a touch of lemon, heather and sweat. Lean and smooth mouthfeel; some malt and wheat flavor, with a woody character, moderate astringency, strong bitterness and pleasant mild raspberry touch, just a hint of sourness.
Nothing of a Berliner Weisse, but itís a very nice brew; in the summer it would be a blast.
