bottle from CBFZ - hazy golden beer with a white foam left; fair and fresh aroma of citrus and grapefruit, quite funky; medium-bodied, lively palate, gently sour; quite dry and long fresh grapefruity and lemony finish with hints of pepper
Tap. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is peppery yeasts, dough, bananas, not so much grapefruit. Taste is again dough and peppery yeasts, earthy, grapefruit peel, bananas. Foamy mouthfeel with a rather high carbonation. Not nearly as great as the first version.
Tap at CBFZ 2017. Pours hazy yellow with a low head. Aroma is grapefruit, soft butter, sugar residues and saison/yeast funk. Body is light, lightly sour, full of grapefruit, lively carbonated and typically grapefruit-y bitter. Balanced. Dryish palate, very refreshing. Good!
