Clear orange copper, cream orange head. Malts, grass and fresh hops, aromatic citruses, grapefruit and mandarins. Almost oily palate, rich malts, mou and sweet citruses quickly turning into hoppy herbaceous bitterness, quite long lasting, as white grapefruit peel. mario_giri (255) - SWITZERLAND - NOV 13, 2015
Fast klares orange. Lang anhaltender, fester, eher seifiger
Schaum.

Aroma: floral hops, light caramel, fruity, Belgian yeast. Appearance: clear gold, massive, frothy, white head. Taste: light sweet. Palate: sweets and bitters dueling, sweets prevail, caramel, sweet, ripe fruits, full body. Overall: nice IIPA, interesting touch with the Belgian influences. Tap in Zurich at Erzbierschof at the end of our trip. Aroma is a bit candy sweet, light skunky hops, a bit of corn. Perhaps a bit stale/old. Kind of hammy, hoppy flavor, a bit of bubblegum and rye. Fairly underwhelming but I think the keg may be quite old. eduardovl (1490) - SWITZERLAND - MAY 11, 2015
330ml bottle served in a pint glass.
Pours a cloudy, dark orange to amber color forming a medium and very creamy head. Good retention and lots of lingering and soapy off white head. Strong hoppy nose. Hops are a mix of pine, resin, grass and citrus. Sweet caramel, crystal malts and grapefruit. Bready and earthy yeast notes. Taste follows the nose. Slightly sweet upfront. Strong hops profile. Toffee, caramel malts, roasted malts, grapefruit. Strong hops bitterness. Great bittersweet balance. Sweet bread. Heavy body, medium carbonation. Grassy, pinny and citrus aftertaste mixed with sweet caramel malts. Excellent drinkability. Not exactly like the Belgium IPAs that I know but still an excellent IIPA. Masterpiece.

@SoBiTa 2015; courtesy of Tom Strickler - hazy amber beer with a poor head retention; piney and resiney hoppiness, notes of ripe fruits; full-bodied, some sweetness; moderate carbonation and a fair bitterness; very long fruity hoppy finish, light residual sweetness and notes of candied fruity - delivers what the name promises SinH4 (6895) - Garching b. Orange color with white head. Belgian IPA aroma, nice fruity hopping, a bit spicy. Strawberries, hoppy, warming finish, not too bitter. Smooth carbonation. Nice! King_Alex_II (1227) - SWITZERLAND - APR 27, 2015
Clear amber color with little foam. The smell is yeasty and Belgian like. The taste is a little heavy, boozy, sweetish but extremely well balanced and a little bread like. A heavy boozy and partially dry aftertaste completes the beer. Maybe not the prototype of the style, but a real good ambassador at least.
