Black color with small head. The aroma is mild, a bit dusty, with some dry (ancho) chili. Very smooth mouthfeel; good roasted malt and dark chocolate flavor, light smoke, very light chili spiciness; drier in the final.
Not vibrant, but solid and good.
Bottled, thanks Bov! Black, small beige head. Cocoa aroma. Mid sweet with near full body and soft mouthfeel. Chocolaty with the faintest hint of smoke chili, yet almost no heat, Subtly flavourful. Nice!

Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is liquorice, some spicy and mildly toffeeish notes along with a slight roasted edge. Flavour is fruity, mildly spicy along with some slight alcohol. Very mellow chipotle.
from Erzbierschof - black beer under a long lasting dark beige foam and a beautiful lacework; roasted malts, sharp chili notes and solid hints of cacao underneath; full-bodied and with a velvety palate; a late cacao tartness combines with the chili to introduce a long chocolatey finish leaving a lingering sharpness and earthy cacao notes - pretty orgasmic ... thebeertourist (5189) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 17, 2013
Bottle from Fork & Bottle, Zürich. Pours almost black with a creamy capuccino head that lasts. Deep espresso nose, with just a hint of fruit. Espresso and spicy dryness, especially towards the finish (when the chipotle kicks in, I suspect). Great imperial stout.
