Bottle at Erzbierschof. Pours dark with a thick light brown head. Smells strongly of roast and coffee. Tastes strongly of coffee, with a very pleasant roasty bitterness. Medium sweetness, mild bitter. High carbonation. Finishes bitter.

TheJvd (1336) - NETHERLANDS - OCT 27, 2013
Bottle, bit of a gusher. Pours pitch black with a vast tanned head. Aroma of dark chocolate, hard roasted coffee and some licorice. Taste of roasted malts, lots of coffee, soft bitter. Medium body and a medium to heavy carbo. Too much carbo, which ruins the taste a bit.

KyotoLefty (10730) - Kyoto, JAPAN - SEP 2, 2013

Bottle @ Yespr. Big coffee nose with something like rum. Creamy flavor, vanilla, coffee. Airy and light body. Tasty.

Bottled. A black beer with a huge but collapsing dark brown beer. The aroma has notes of iodine, smoke, roasted malt, and dried fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, and smoke, leading to a dry fnish.

Black color with huge brownish head, compact, persistent. The aroma is strong and very nice: roasted malt, cocoa, dark bread, hint of quality coffee. There is too much carbonation, that affects the mouthfeel; very good flavor of roasted malt and dark chocolate, with nice touch of coffee, and traces of liquorice; it also has a creamy feeling; correct bitterness; the residual sweetness is low.

Bottle 33cl from Allen thanks. A dark beer with huge white head. Nose is strange on cooked vegetables ! Aroma is very roasted, lot of coffee beans and roasted vegetables, dark chocolate, dark coffee, coffee pouder, ashes. there is something that goes not well here. Too much roasted malts in there.

ElDesmadre (3630) - Mikołów, POLAND - JUL 15, 2013
Bottle, traded with Allen. Unfortunately a gusher, though I managed to save most of it. Aroma of coffee beans and chocolate pralines, very roasted, with tobacco and a pinch of vanilla. Full of flavour yet not really full in body. Light tart, very tobacco accented flavour, finishing with a medium bitterness and light chocolate and strong coffee notes. It grows on you, the equivalent of a morning espresso.

Embrouille (2854) - SWITZERLAND - JUN 12, 2013
Bottled 33cl. It pours a dark beer with a huge quick diminishing bubbly choatic beige head. Hershey’s kisses, strong coffee, vanilla and mint showing up in the nose which is quite inviting. Medium to full bodied. Good bitterness balanced by a present roasted malt back. Lovely chocolatey components throughout. Not much lacework. Long minty finish which is mainly reminiscent of chocolate powder. A nice take on the style of a breakfast porter.

omhper (25834) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - FEB 19, 2013
Bottled, thanks Bov! Hazy near black, huge lively head.Rich aroma of coffee and chocolate, with a touch of cherries. Sweetish with medium body and rounded sporitzy mouthfeel. Coffee and chocolate dominates. Fairly low bitterness in a mellow fibish. Nice!
