Caramel notes with good bitterness. Combining the best of both worlds and properly merging the two styles. Obier (47) - Baden-Württemberg, GERMANY - SEP 23, 2013
leicht rötlicher Schaum, leicht malziges Aroma. Malzige bitternote. Die auch im Abgang bleiben. Erscheint unausgewogen.

Hazy dark amber color with medium sized creamy head. Some caramel aroma. Good body strength, caramel flavor, residual sweetness, a bit dusty, correct bitterness, but no hop quality.
Bottle, traded with Allen. Dark malts of a porterish provenance, with note of earth, chocolate, caramel and light roast mixed with ripe fruit such as pineapple and raspberries. Sweetish taste, creamy and smooth mouthfeel. Resin notes come to the fore in the flavour, coupled with chocolate, at the expense of the fruitiness. Medium bitter finish with nuts and light roast, very dry and yet with a light sweet note. Warming. Very good. Embrouille (2855) - SWITZERLAND - JUN 12, 2013
Bottled 33cl. It pours a beautiful hazy mahogany colored beer with a nicely lasting creamy light beige head. Resinous hops and caramel are most present in the nose which is rather inviting. Flawless malt back. Clean as a whistle. Good lacework. Great balance. Medium bodied. Gone in a few gulps. Lovely. Dry nutty finish. Burp....

Bottled, thanks Bov! Hazy mahogany colour, creamy head. Aroma of tropical fruits. Soft with slid body. Some milk chocolate and toffee under the blanket of tropical fruit hops. Salty bitter finish. Solid with seemless pleasant flavours. Bov (13711) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - NOV 30, 2012
from Erzbierschof - hazy brown beer under a long lasting beige foam; the fruity hoppiness (berries) succeeds to dominate the biscuity maltiness; perfumy and gently spicy; rounded palate and medium-bodied; moderate carbonation and some fair earthy bitterness; the finish is fairly hoppy but this time the spiciness (pepper comes to mind) is on top of the fruitiness - Tom is performing more magic !
