Bottle from beers of world Basel. Pours a brown reddish color. A bit overcarbonated. Aroma is spicy with some rye bread notes. Taste is well balanced. Nice interesting malt profile followed by a earthy piney bitterness a great rye IPA, maybe one of my favorite Swiss beers! My only complaint is a bit too much carbonation for the palate.

couleur orange trouble; mousse crème assez fine; arômes et goût fruités, houblonnés, de résine et épicé; belle amertume

Bottle from Drinks of the World, Zurich. Nice amber body with puffy, lasting head. Nose is grainy, sweet, malty. Taste is malty, caramel, sweet, butterscotch. Quite nice. Nice hoppier kick in the creamy finiish.

(330ml bottle from Drinks of the World, Geneva) Gusher. Pours hazy dark gold with a huge pillowy whitish head that lingers. Aroma not too strong, spicy rye character, lemon oil, fresh pine, some other citrus, slightly bready malt, lightly sweet. Palate lightly sweet and moderately bitter, lots of peppery rye, lemon oil again, pine, a bit herbal, slight grain and soap. Quite dry and bitter finish, peppery and rather resinous hops linger. Light body, light but prickly carb. Maybe not as fresh as it could be, rye character is nice, the overall impression is an okay IPA but not one that really shines.

from Chäsi, Erlach - hazy orange beer with some chill haze and a modest head retention; aroma of corn and tangerines, hints of mango; full-bodied, quite juicy palate and with a low carbonation; clean fresh fruity hoppy finish

330ml bottle served in a pint glass. Pours a cloudy dark orange color forming a medium thin bubble off white head with medium retention and only very few lacings left in the glass. Strong notes of caramel malts and fruits in the nose. Mix of watermelon, grapefruit, mango and passion fruit. Notes of pine. American style bready yeasts. Very S-05 Pale Ale style. Taste is a must. Slightly sweet upfront. Strong notes of tropical fruits. Again, strong notes of caramel, watermelon, grapefruit, mango and passion fruit. Citrus and herby. Strong pine notes. In overall, a dry but quite delicate taste. Medium body. Low carbonation. Citrus and pine in the aftertaste. Great drinkability. Excellent Swiss American style IPA.

Red brownish color with little foam. The smell is not very special. The taste is tart, freshly bitter and also sweetish round. The aftertaste is dry.

On tap at Hako anniversary. Fruity smell, I like. Citric, too. Not an outstanding IPA, but definitely a good one!

Orange color with small head. Aroma is shy, a bit sweet hops. Taste is sweet berries, bready malt. Hopping tastes like S&A, with an immense dry bready rye body. Good!
