from la Mise en Bière - pours a hazy bright orange beer with a little persistent white foam; solid hoppy aroma of lemon and oranges; fairly wheaty; juicy palate, a good malt backbone and a well-integrated bitterness; long fruity hoppy finish (pineapples, oranges and mango) with lingering notes of wheat

330ml served in a pint. Pours a cloudy orange color forming a creamy solid white head. Strong notes of fruits, sweet grains, spices and flowery hops. Slightly sweet upfront. Strong notes of sweet pale malts and wheat. Sweet bread. Grapefruit, berries, apricot and black pepper. Grassy, citrus and a bit piny hops profile. Dry and bitter finish. Full body. Creamy texture. Smooth. Average carbonation. Wheat, apricot, citrus and grassy notes in the aftertaste. Persistent. Great drinkability. Great Swiss White IPA.

(330ml bottle from La Mise en Bière, Lausanne) Pours hazy yellow gold with a small white ring of bubbles and spotty lace. Aroma of candied orange, peach, floral notes, wheat, hints of yeasty esters like some Belgian or German influence present, bright and without resin. Palate fairly sweet, not cloying, lots of orange and peach juices, grassy, leafy and floral notes, extremely bright and fruity. Very slight wheat grain and white bread. Some orange pith and grassy bitterness to dry the finish but quite light, almost mineral. Light body with soft, effervescent carb. For whatever reason this really did it for me, I thought the mix of fruity hops and weizen character was extremely refreshing, bright and super-drinkable.

Orange color with thin foam layer. The smell is very fruity. The taste has wheat, witbeer/saison pepper spicyness, wheat banana flavors, boozy cookie parts and the hoppy bitter tartness including part. This is surprisingly complex, even when the tastes doesn’t really fit together.

Hazy golden-yellow color with white head. Spicy Wit aroma with sweet fruity hops, peaches, maybe berries. Hints of booze already detectable. Taste is sweet fruits, very fruity, finish is a bit spicy and peppery. A little bit banana feeling from a Weizen. Finish is a bit boozy, but also spicy-peppery yeasts, refreshing overall. Silky mouthfeel. Nice, but a little bit too boozy. Like a mixture between Weizen, Wit and Pale Ale.
