Note: Don’t confuse it with Bernstein-Weizen Bio!

beer smells sugar sweet as a funfair and candyfloss. fruity to the taste, candied almonds and vanilla tone. nice aftertaste and finish. good beer!

Hugi (475) - Waldkirch, GERMANY - APR 14, 2013
Orange and hazy with a full, white head. Unfortunately i had some big pieces of yeast floating around in the beer (and there was still some yeast left in the bottle). Very fruity aroma (a lot of pears and apples, maybe a little banana), a bit of yeast. Flavour also frutity, a little malty with some caramel-notes. Medium body and fizzy with a little sweetness.

hazy light amber with a tall, fine head. nice, but a bit too restrained aroma of banana, orange, grass and a hint of currant. rather light bodied with strong carbonation.

larsga (7567) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 5, 2013
Medium coarseish very white shiny head. Hazy yellow body with strong carbonation. Mealy yoghurty spicy aroma, kind of vague and weak. Dryish, and faintly sweet, mealy yoghurty papery taste with oily notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish earthy floury papery aftertaste with fruity herbal notes. It’s not bad, but it’s not really very good, either. Too mealy and weak. (0.5l bottle, Systembolaget, Charlottenberg.)

Hazy orange pour. Small white head some lacing. Malty aroma with citrus notes. Bready flavor with some pepper and a slight fruit presence. A little sweet with a bit if bitterness. Not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

jkbier (70) - Hamburg, GERMANY - MAR 21, 2013
Bottle. Aroma of cloves and banana. Pours a hazy yellow with a bright white head that is quite fizzy, and not as creamy as in some other Weizen beers. Tastes like banana bread with a touch of vanilla. Lively carbonation but a bit watery. Very decent and refreshing Weizen.

500 ml bottle shared in the sun. Taste is sweet with lots of wheat. Perfect summer beer

Abrakarl (436) - SWEDEN - MAR 15, 2013
Pretty nice weiss-bier without being fantastic. Smells a bit from banana and the typical yeast. Nothing too difficult but drinkable and refreshing.

500 ml bottle, bought in Germany as part of a six pack with different Stortebeker beers. Poured into a weizen glass. ABV 5.3% Light orange colour on the body, which by the way is quite clear and transparent. Two full fingers of white, soapy heas, with good retention. It left a very light lacing around the glass. Nice amd strong wheat aroma. Taste of wheat, a bit of yeast, some sweet bubblegum. Medium on the body, good carbonation. Overall a nice weizen, fits good with the sunny weather we have today.
