Note: Don’t confuse it with Bernstein-Weizen Bio!

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a creamy white head. Banana estery fruit aroma, clean. Light yeasty and wheaty mellow mouthfeel and initial flavour. Has a lot of banana esters on the back of the nose. Lingering sweet and fruity finish. A bit too banana fruity for my liking.

Bottled. An unclear golden-orange beer with a huge beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of dusty hops mingling with the wheat and light banana notes. The flavor is sweet wheaty combined with light notes of banana and some yeast, leading to a dry wheaty end, with also a bit of dusty hops.

UPDATED: AUG 24, 2006 [Bottled] Hazy yellow, rich head. Estery raspberry aroma. Sweet and soft with lovely yeast induced character. Plenty of band aid. Despite it’s sweetness it remains very refreshing.
