COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Note: Don’t confuse it with Bernstein-Weizen Bio!

The Amber Wheat is also a natural, top-fermented wheat beer with an original gravity of 12.9 % and 5.3% alc vol . The recommended serving temperature is here at 10 ° C. Wheat, caramel and dark brewing malts give the beer its rich amber color and create the basis for that advertises itself by fruit flavors. Warm fermentation with top-fermenting yeast provides the rich scent of ripe bananas and red fruits and vigorously bubbling carbon dioxide. Subtle hopping with the hop variety pearl drops the fruit flavors to be fully effective .

mkel07 (5847) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - APR 16, 2015
Bottle from The German Club 15/0415. The first thing that you notice with this beer is the super sweet ripe banana aroma, followed by the crackling sound the foam makes as it settles above the beer like a San Francisco fog. Starts off cloudy but clear as the beer sits a while. A bit watery in the mouth but again there is the sweetness of bananas. Not much of a finish.
