Bottle shared in Hackney - many thanks to Fergus. Pours clear red-Browns it's a creamy, tan head. Dry toasted brown bread in the snout, leathery berries. Medium sweet flavour with sugary berries, more brown bread, almost no bitterness. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sugary finish, more berries, toffee. Very simple. Dark amber color with tiny head. Aroma is light roasted, caramel and malt. Taste is heavy sweet with notes of caramel and sugar. Surypy mouthfeel, Too sweet, not a good porter. wein.doch (28) - - OCT 7, 2017
Ein sehr starker malziger, süßlicher Karamellgeschmack. Weicher Körper mit Kaffeenote, leicht bitterer Abgang. Wenn man Lust auf ein süßes Porter zwischendurch hat, eine gute Wahl.

500 ml bottle, bb 27.5.2018. Pours a dark copper with a light beige head. Aroma of mildly roasted malt - toffee, light caramel, some coffee. Medium watery body with a low carbonation, and a medium sweetness. The flavor is rather simple - sweetish malt, dark fruits, caramel, brown sugar. After the nice mildly roasted aroma, the solely sweet flavor is quiet disappointing.

Bottle. Clear dark brown color, fine beige head. Roast malt, coffee and chocolate aromas. Sweet taste, low bitterness. Very nice, coffee, chocolate, caramel-malty aftertaste. Medium carbonation, medium texture.
It reminds me of the alcohol-free Malz-Bier from Germany, which is virtually unfermented wort with a little hop. But this beer gets a bit more depth and character from the fermentation and a more accentuated bitterness. mike_77 (7029) - Breda, NETHERLANDS - JUL 25, 2017
Very dark brown with thin head. Aroma has some toasted malt. Flavour is initially very sweet. Tonnes of caramel. Tastes like artificial sweetener. heno (48) - - JUL 24, 2017

08-07-17 // bottle at Bierbörse Mainz. Brownish beer. Very sweet, maltbeer like, caramel, burned caramel, roasted malts, mild coffee, sugar. I wouldnt name this a porter, not good. hauxe (903) - Butzbach, Hesse, GERMANY - JUL 11, 2017
Pours chestnut brown with a thick, frothy crown that only slowly subsides. Aroma is caramel, brown sugar. Taste is ridiculously sweet, much along the lines of the Malzbier that Jacob drinks. Obviously a fair dose of sugar has been added to the mix. Finishes sweet and cloying on a lightish body. Brews like this give the style "porter" a bad name. Did not finish. Gave to less discerning drinkers. Awful.
