A grassy-lemony, spicy-bitter, hazy yellow-gold pils-like beauty. Leans dry and very lightly acidic, with a light grainy malt base in the dark green shadow of its hop character. I find the low ratings baffling here, possibly a geeky reaction to the beer’s thankfully wide availability. Or, opinions are like assholes and so am I. enidlesim (73) - - SEP 5, 2014
Bought from Alnatura. Pours hazy light gold. Sweet and floral nose. Taste is quite bitter for a Keller and has some Melissa overtones. Quite well balanced against the usual sweetness of a Kellerbier. Good beer. peponi (1842) - Hannover, GERMANY - AUG 26, 2014

Gyllengul öl med vitt skum. Gräs, hö, viss maltighet och lätt blomighet. Malten mer framträdande i smaken tillsammans med lätta citrustoner och en gräsig beska. Andy_ (1107) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUL 1, 2014
4.7% version. Light yellow opaque beer with creamy white head leaving lacing. Aroma has quite strong diacetyl with pale malts, grassy hops, yeast and some crisp citrus. Flavor is malty, dry grainy and slightly fruity with some yeast. Palate is quite thin with quite high carbonation. Finishes with a moderately strong bite of bitterness with aftertaste of grass and some fruity yeastiness. Decent, tasty and refreshing, just a bit watery. The fruityness is a bit like hefeweizens. My Bottom Line:ken1 (1985) - DENMARK - JUN 4, 2014
This soft and fluffy Kellerbier mashes hay into minty, herbal hops leading to a balancing bitterness.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam tops the pale straw blond.
-Hops also contribute a mild citrusy character.
-The delicate and almost creamy mouthfeel is highly enjoyable.
-While this won’t wow the crowds, it remains a well-crafted, "süffig" example.
Aroma: grainy and sweet.
Flavor: sweet and some bitterness with fruity notes.
Color: yellow amber with a white head.
