Untergäriges Kellerbier. Naturbelassen, ohne Filtration. Bio-zertifiziert.

4.7% version. Light yellow opaque beer with creamy white head leaving lacing. Aroma has quite strong diacetyl with pale malts, grassy hops, yeast and some crisp citrus. Flavor is malty, dry grainy and slightly fruity with some yeast. Palate is quite thin with quite high carbonation. Finishes with a moderately strong bite of bitterness with aftertaste of grass and some fruity yeastiness. Decent, tasty and refreshing, just a bit watery. The fruityness is a bit like hefeweizens.

My Bottom Line:
This soft and fluffy Kellerbier mashes hay into minty, herbal hops leading to a balancing bitterness.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam tops the pale straw blond.
-Hops also contribute a mild citrusy character.
-The delicate and almost creamy mouthfeel is highly enjoyable.
-While this won’t wow the crowds, it remains a well-crafted, "süffig" example.

50cl bottle, bought in a cool mix six pack, pours with a clear somewhat pale gold body that supports a thin bright white head. The mild aroma offers up sweet malts, a little bit of corn and then floral hops. The taste has a nice little hop bite to it with spicy to grassy to floral hop bitterness and then there’s a modest sweet malt backbone. The malts and overall sweetness grow into the finish but the hops help keep this from becoming overly sweet. Nice.

1/2L brown bottle abv 4.7% pours a white head on an unclear yellow golden body. Many thin curtains inside the mug. Aroma of hops, dust, grains, undefined fruits and fresh grass. Tastes hops n dust, pale malts, some bitter grains, some wheat character, fruitiness. Fresh fruity and easy on palate. Alright body. Finishes somewhat dry, suiting this beer well, fruity and bitter at the same time. This beer is a good brew. [email protected], [email protected]
