Rich and full bodied with a nice balance of hop bitterness and malt flavor. Good kellerbier. Chopper925 (573) - Gross Gerau, GERMANY - JUL 19, 2016
Bottle. Slightly cloudy, nice pale golden color, with a fine but thin white head. Grassy hops, some citrus, and some muffled yeast aroma. Dry and light, a tad sour and with a nice hop punch bitterness. Floral, fruity hop notes, accompanied by some modest malt flavours. Full body, low, but refreshing carbonation.
This beer is great, it’s light, but still very tasteful. Especially the Mandarina Bavaria hop blends in extremely well. Graphirus (48) - - SEP 28, 2013
This is my very first Keller so I'm not an expert of this particular style.
A - Excellent. Pours a mildly cloudy and yellow liquid (2-3 lovibond units) with a large white and creamy head that is very lasting. Lacing is fair. The body offers sparkling and vivid bubbles.
S - Average malt smell with some hints of straw and white bread. Light smell of yeast and some notes of leaves.
T - Great taste. In the mouth feels vivid and creamy. Leaves a hint of bitterness
M - Creamy, with average carbonation.
O - A very nice Keller, would buy again.

A grassy-lemony, spicy-bitter, hazy yellow-gold pils-like beauty. Leans dry and very lightly acidic, with a light grainy malt base in the dark green shadow of its hop character. I find the low ratings baffling here, possibly a geeky reaction to the beer’s thankfully wide availability. Or, opinions are like assholes and so am I. drmet (979) - GERMANY - JAN 16, 2016

Fine Kellerbier MiP (15920) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - SEP 23, 2008
Draught, 4.9%, zum alten Fritz, Rostock. Weak grainy aroma. Also reminds me a little of wheat or rye. Hazy golden colour. Stable creamy white head. The flavour starts off vinous, turns fruity and malty, finishing with a citric and hop spicy touch. Served with low carbonation, quite good.crossovert (13078) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 10, 2011

Bottle, 4.9%. Weak grainy aroma. Clear golden colour. Very small white head. Grainy flavour, but quite malty and slightly spicy, and also a bit clean.
Label calls it a Kellerbier. 500ml bottle MHB: 28.12.11.
It looks more like a kellerbier, it is a hazy gold with a fluffy white head that produces gobs of lacing. It has a bit of awkward carbonation bubbles that cling to the side of the glass that take the appearance down a notch.
The smell is good, it is herbal with a hint of citrus rind and a subtle maltiness.
The flavor is pretty good. It is subtly fruity with hints of citrus and a sweet herbal character. The malt is bready but not overbearing. There is not a high level of bitterness but it is definitely slightly more noticeable than the norm.
The mouthfeel could be crisper, I feel like it is a bit of a weak link.
Overall it is a solid unfiltered pils.
