COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

A light brown beer with a light brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with roasted notes, and so is the flavor, but the body is thin. An OK Schwarzbier - but nothing special.

omhper (25161) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JUN 13, 2004
Bottled. Very dark brown with rich, firm beige head. Roasty coffee aroma. Dry with clean and firm malt profile. Medium bodied with earthy, roasty finish. A good schwarzbier, with some chartacter of it’s own - maltier and more flavourful than Köstritzer and the likes However it lacks the fullness oand softness of the masterpiece of the style - Altstadthof.

Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - SEP 29, 2006
(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a beautiful clear, reddish mahogany with a creamy, beige head. Aroma of roasted malt. Medium body with sweet, roasted malts and accents of dark chocolate. No real bitterness. Really comes through more like a soft Dunkel - bud a good one. 260906
