COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Curious beer. Sort of like a quad with added toffiness. The lasting bitterness in the after-taste is surprising. In any case, great palate, thick and oily. Toffee, boiled sweets, chocolate flavours. All that and you get 50cl for your money.

Bottle. Clear, yet dark brown color, small, fine brown head. Nuts, chocolate, coffee, and toffeelike aromas. The taste is so well balanced, that the 7.5 ABV is not directly perceptible, but a high bitterness combines nice with the ethanolic bite. The aftertaste comes up with more cocoa, and roast malt components. Thick, oily texture, with a low, bit fizzy carbonation.

Dark body, very nice. Licorice, rye bread, toasted, lovely development. Smooth actually due to the lower than expected carbonation, but also a decent bitter bite over the very malty and flavourful body. Yummy! Clean yet the dark malts really give a full feel. Like it! (50cl bottle from Saveur Bière)

ArtificialCyst (1229) - Szczecin, POLAND - MAY 29, 2016
Aroma: Caramel, coffee, roasted malts, pumpernickel, some sweet chocolate, bit metalic hoppiness, light fruit. Appearance: Head medium high, quickly dissappears, dense, body color is black. Taste: Nice texture - very soft, mostly caramel and sweet chocolate, a bit alcoholic in not a very nice way, a little bit of cola notes, some sweet coffee, some cherry. Palate: Alcohol is burning on the finish, generally the finish is softly sweet, carbonation is low, body quite high.
