COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A moderately strong Belgian Abbey-style beer. The traditional yeast strain imparts a complex assortment of spicy phenolic and fruity flavors Hints of clove, plum and raisin permeate this rich, malty and full-bodied beer. And its lofty, tan head sits gracefully atop the seductive, deep mahogany nectar.

Lots of different spices here. Nice cloudy brown color, hop kept in check as well as the alcohol. The best Belgian STYLE Double for me to date

Extremely complex double. Among the flavors I detected were prunes, raisins and cinnamon. Delicious aroma. Probably the best double I've had.

Very cloudy - opaque light brown color, almost like an extra-cloudy apple cider. No head, with creamy med carbonation. Aroma is spicy and clovey. Flavor is mainly sweet, with lots of spicy notes of clove and yeasty/breadiness. Medium bodied.
