light bodied, refreshing brew uses a small amount of caramel malt to give it a nice amber color with a hint of sweetness. Lower hopping rates and a smooth dry finish make this the perfect session beer to help you celebrate 25 years of Stoudt’s beers. 6 pack holder also indicates their Karnival Kolsch yeast is used.

UPDATED: NOV 18, 2012 Pleasant aroma of burnt malt, slight hops and fresh citrus. Taste is the same but disappears without a trace

keanex (1799) - Atco, New Jersey, USA - OCT 29, 2012
No bottling date.

A: This is a very bland looking beer, a hazy tea colored body with only a light tan head that has no retention.

S: The aroma is really malty, toasted and caramel notes with a weird vegetable aroma.

T: The flavor has caramel malty sweetness with light toasted notes, but for some reason it reminds me of green beans.

M: Medium bodied with light sharp carbonation.

O: Not a fan of this at all, it has this odd taste and aroma I just do not like.

FROTHINGSLOSH (7879) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 8, 2012
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a golden-amber color with a large creamy tan head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was caramel and vegetal malts - bock like in character. The flavor was sweetish, tangy, malty and somewhat vegetal with touches of wood and dark fruits. Turns bitter and dry towards the long malty finish. Medium body. Eh.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 9/27/12

Aroma: The nose has some caramel, fruit, slightly stale yeast, and a little tea
Appearance: It pours a clear orange color with a small off-white head and some spotty lace
Flavor: The taste is pretty much exactly what the nose would lead you to expect, it is light-medium sweet
Palate: The body is light, the mouthfeel is nothing special, and a finish is pretty short
Overall Impression: Ironically 25 people had rated this one before me, not at all that interesting to most people, but what can I say, it is an interesting factoid to me. As for the beer, there wasn’t a lot to this one. Very unexciting and not particularly good.

12oz bottle from Pinocchio’s. Pours a light amber color with a thin white head. Aroma is caramel, bread, toast. A little light on the palate with soft carbonation. Flavor is sweet, malty, a little nutty, some grassy hops, with a light bready malt finish. Not bad, just a little underwhelming, but I would certainly drink this again.

reggiedunlop (3725) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 14, 2012
Pours clear amber with a medium white head. Aroma has dry leaves, light fruitiness...a bit of an off shellfish note. Flavor has tea, dry leaves, light toffee, and earthy hop notes...good bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium/full and silky with an earthy/tea bitter and dry finish.

BREWMUSKCLES (2698) - New Jersey, USA - SEP 6, 2012
an immediete and sustained grapefruit flavor steeped in malt and berry/cherry fruit tea. a lingering dryness and a body clearly on the light side. decent aroma.

jeremytoni (3079) - Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA - AUG 20, 2012
From a bottle poured an amber color with a good amount of head. Light malty flavor with a quick finish.

Capa (3325) - Kitsap, Washington, USA - AUG 20, 2012
Malty with slightly citrus and floral hops. Medium bodied. A good amber ale that would be great in their normal lineup. I wonder what the thought process behind this was, though. For an anniversary beer you'd think they'd go a bit harder.
