light bodied, refreshing brew uses a small amount of caramel malt to give it a nice amber color with a hint of sweetness. Lower hopping rates and a smooth dry finish make this the perfect session beer to help you celebrate 25 years of Stoudt’s beers. 6 pack holder also indicates their Karnival Kolsch yeast is used.

I agree with other ratings, overall this is a good amber ale, but nothing great. For 25 years, I would expect something more dynamic. Great session brew, clean, crisp easy drinking and enjoyable. Well balanced.

Deep red in color, almost chestnut. This whispy head that did not last long. Smell and taste sweet malts. Very easy drinking, wanted more.

This poured a darker amber color with a white head. Aroma was biscuts, caramel, moss, and grassy hops. Flavor was biscurts and caramel mainly, mild hops, pretty boring overall.

Not bad, disappointing in the aspect it is a 25th anniversary beer. Almost basically a standard amber ale.

DiarmaidBHK (6151) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 12, 2012
Draft at Anthony’s Micro Pub. Pours light brown with a half inch of white foam that leaves a lot of lacing. Not much on the nose or tongue. Finishes dry. Solid for a boring style.

MercyDevice (365) - Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 12, 2012
Amber-colored, with a full white head. Spicy and a bit tangy, with some fruit and carmel notes. Not bad.

PhillyCraft (8202) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 1, 2012
On tap at pour house. Very hazy copper color with small off white head and lacing that didn’t last. Aromas of bread, strong caramel and caramel malts, Taste is bready caramel, earthy hops, kolsch yeast, and some other slightly sour notes that hard to detect. Finishes a little bitter, and dry. Boozey tasting for 4.8% I don’t know, lacked hops and flavor for me.

keepersj12 (3142) - Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA - JUL 27, 2012
A very nice example of the style. Pours a light amber with a thin head. Analytic caramel atoms dominates. The flavor is well balanced with the malt and some crisp hops. The finish is crisp and clean.)

Light amber. Nose is light caramel malts and earthy hops. Flavor is light malts, mild caramel character. little to no hops. Dry finish. Light bitterness. Not special.

pretty ok for a session beer. kind of reminds me of the mass produced lagers available. good to have for a cheap party beer. easy to drink.
