This uniquely American beer offers a crisp, medium-body with a light amber color. It is assertively hopped with Pacific Northwest Cascades for a firm bitterness and delightfully floral aroma.

Nice amber color with a foamy white head. Malty aroma with a modestly bitter tatse. Nice long aftertaste. Not always a pale ale fan but Stoudt’s never disappoints.

12 oz bottle pour amber with a off white head. Aroma of sweet malts and pine. Taste is the malt, with a nice bitter finish.

UPDATED: SEP 12, 2012 Golden pour and a nose of slight citrus. Initial taste is straight APA with a little hop finish. Standard APA and that?s not a bad thing.

Crisp and clean this ale didn’t disappoint. Good hop balance. Amber in color with decent head that disappeared quickly. I really liked this brew because the balance of the malt and hops

On tap at White Dog, Philly, as Leglifter Pale Ale. Solid as hell brew here, a by-the-numbers APA but quite well done. Deep orange pour, semi-cloudy, bedecked with froth. Tea and floral notes in the nose, which in the taste are complemented by solid but unostentatious malts. Bar might be set fairly low, but it’s cleared without ambiguity.

Bottle pours copper with foamy white head. Spruce, floral, caramel. Low bitterness and moderate sweetness. Medium bodied. Not a whole lot of flavor. I don’t know if I had a bad bottle or what, but I was disappointed with this.

Draft. Pours a slightly cloudy golden orange color with a small head. Hoppy aroma of orange, grapefruit, and flowers. Taste has a nice crisp bitterness, fresh hop flowery flavor, and a little malt to hold it together. A great example of an American pale ale. Reminds me a lot of Sierra Nevada's. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Appearance: Pours an orange copper.

Aroma: Aroma is of citrus and hop.

Taste: Orange, decent amount of bitterness.

Palate: Medium body.

Summary: I have probably had this before, it’s a solid APA, nothing outstanding.

Poured from bottle into pint glass. Pours a nice hazy amber color with thick frothy head that retains wells. Pine, honey, and floral aromas fill the nose. Very outdoorsy smelling and lovely. A flavorful brew with hoppy pine, some malty caramel, honey, and hay. Refreshing. Mouthfeel is good with a light body, medium carbonation, with a slight bitterness on the palate. A well balanced beer that's easily sessionable. --- Cheers
