(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of Kramer 17801. Pours a very dark brown, close to black, with a vague tint of red and a creamy, lacing, beige head. Lightly burned malt aroma. Surprisingly the body is only medium with a very soft mouthfeel, roasted and lightly burned malt accents with a very discreet whiskey touch and some oak. The bitterness is very subdued. 170607

Aroma is heavy malt (molasses, chocolate, toasted), average hops (flowers), average yeast (leather) with notes of prune, wood and tar. Full bodied, alcoholic texture, average carbonation and a bitter finish. Average duration, light sweetness, moderate acidity and bitterness; toasted and roasted malt flavor, chocolate, slight creaminess.

hopdog on the hookup! Dark brown pour. tan head. Lots of bourbon, toasted malt and some chocolate on the nose. Flavor has less bourbon than i expected...but some nice raosty notes and good chocolate. Very well done and understated which is rare with the bourbon imp stouts these days.
