A nice enough dark bock. Nose of sweet malts. Dark almost chestnut, small head, good lacing. Taste consistent with nose ... sweet dark malts, caramel, touch maybe of coffee, none of the intensity of a double bock, but quite enjoyable. nimbleprop (8376) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - MAY 4, 2010

Tap at BT. Pours a hazed deep amber with a light fizzy white head. Aroma is a touch on the fruity side, but stays somewhat legit with some nice full caramunich sweetness and toasty breadiness- low herbal hops. Flavor is toasty, caramel, munich, bread, earth leather and slight fruit, even hint of cherry pit? Mostly smooth finish. yobdoog (1888) - Kingston, New York, USA - MAR 18, 2010
