Had on tap at brewery. Hoppy and heavy. Husband really liked. He gave more credit than me.

nittanytide (289) - Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 26, 2014
Poured copper with a big, foamy head. Faint floral aroma. Taste is grass with a little bit of caramel.

I get a big sour and metallic flavor from this beer. The aftertaste seems like what it would be like to lick a road sign. The beer pours a dark amber color with a bit of a copper hue. The head is off-white and sticks nicely to the inside of the glass. The nose has a bit of a metallic quality as well, with some additional notes of pine, tree bark and flowers. The flavors also have a bit of sweet floral flavors, along with wood and bread.

emacgee (4705) - Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA - JAN 27, 2014
Pours a soft orange-ish pour with a tint of red to it. One to two fingers of creamy off white head. Nose is very interesting, odd notes in the aroma. Very ripe fruity notes with some citrus and tea leaves. Mostly fruity notes in the flavor with some citrus rind and sharp/dry quality. Medium light bodied.

DocLock (11047) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 11, 2014
Draft. Dark straw pour with off-white head. Nose was grainy pale malt, hopcitrus, with a smooth flavor and hoppy finish.

blipp (9691) - La Mesa, California, USA - AUG 26, 2013
Draft. Pours orange with an off white head. Citrus fruits, lighter earthy and fruity notes, hints of pines, and medium sweet malts. Really well balanced, with some slight lingering hoppy bitterness. Pretty good.

3.2
keepersj12 (3137) - Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA - AUG 24, 2013
On tap at Pinocchio’s in Media PA. Pours a nice amber with a white head. The aroma is malty sweet with some bread and caramel. The flavor is the same with a hint of wood. More of an Amber or Red ale for my taste.

3.5
bmerz (741) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - AUG 23, 2013
Draught at Blind Tiger. Darker orange with good lace. Aroma is ripe tropical fruit and a little pine on top of caramel. Flavor is modest pine, sweetness, late and modest bitterness. Feel is cool solid and grainy. Pretty solid for an east coast ipa but pedestrian.

3.2
Nate (4296) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 5, 2013
On tap at Benjamin’s. Sweet caramel nose with light hop floral notes. Bit of dusty grain and hint of oxidation. Coppery amber clear with thin white lacing head. Medium body with medium carbonation. Starts with light caramel and biscuit. Good hop bitter presence with medium bitter finish and light bitter after. Nutty sweetness.

3.5
MadRobin (2988) - Silver Spring, Maryland, USA - JUL 27, 2013
On tap at Moose's LZ Bar & Grill in Fort Indiantown Gap, PA. Clear, dark amber-red-copper with a khaki head and excellent lacing. Aroma of dark brown bread, pine, citrus and caramel. Taste of pine, floral hops, caramel, citrus and brown bread. Medium/full body and medium carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
